    I’m Homed

Tulip spent the day at mine again whilst I was at the kennels. I have cameras to allow me to view my dogs at home and she virtually didn't move all day! She does get excited when it is walk time but is good on the lead once out. She is very excited at my chickens and ducks and as she can't get to them she takes it out on her toys instead - throwing them around and loves the squeaky ones! She is totally house trained - she hasn't had one accident and can hold herself all day - in fact she had to be forced to go out when I got home!!! She loves running up and down the stairs but we are trying to stop her doing this due to the fact that she has been limping due to her old injury which she retired with. Aimee - she is 100% a little rascal!!!!! She is going up to the kennels again today but sadly doesn't show her best side there as she is quite stressed and wanders around panting and barking 🙁 I really hope someone falls in love with her soon as she is adorable x

I have decided my pet mum is daft as she forgot to lock the bedroom door today so I went and did them a favour on this hot day and cooled down the bed by peeing on it again that will teach her for leaving me alone .pet mum and dad are cross but they still love me They can't understand why I do that as it not every day I do this and if I usually have a accident it's in the back room were I've always had accidents

Bramble is such a quiet, pretty little girl. She loves to look right at you and have a cuddle, and she walks really well on her lead. She's adorable.x

    I’m Homed

The heat certainly wasn't slowing this pocket rocket down today! Angel was so good on her walk, the barking Labs were out at the farm and although she got a little excited, soon came under control. On the way back past them, she walked nicely close to me and we walked straight past without any incident - such a good girl. She has been taken out to the park by a volunteer who reported she was very well behaved - a bit excitable to begin with, but she will respond to you. The outside world is so new & exciting for these boys and girls you have got to expect some sort of reaction, but I was pleased with the way Angel came under control. This tiny little girl with a waggy tail is adorable, xx

Gina went for a lovely walk to Brueton Park with Norman this morning. She was excellent with the small dogs that she met and was very relaxed travelling in the car. She was perfect on the lead. 🙂

Norman took Ray for a walk to Brueton Park this morning. He was perfectly behaved with small dogs, children and even ducks! He was a bit restless in the car but in time will be fine with this.

Thanks for that but as 2 of my dogs are smaller than my cat she might find having 3 little ones about just too much.

Hi Julez1, Meg doesn't seem bothered with other breeds, she tends to ignore or avoid them apart from the puppy that jumped up her in Sutton Park - she didn't like that one bit! No idea about cats, we haven't met any yet and I don't think she's lived with one. We could cat test her at the kennels if you like?

Hi I buy two sorts for mine ... for them to gnaw and chew and have sparkly teefs I buy weight bearing bones (from my raw meat supplier).. they usually have a knuckle at the end or marrow in it ... cos they're weight bearing they are very strong so I take them off the dogs once all the meat etc been eaten. Weight bearing bones (according to my vet) can break dogs teeth so I also feed ribs which dogs can gnaw but aren't weight bearing .... Lots of raw feeders swear by chicken bones but I'm a bit neurotic and I think they can be swallowed whole by a grey so I feed minced chicken with bones minced up ... you can bash the chicken wings to break the chicken bones but I'm too laxy 🙂 Never ever feed cooked bones as they can splinter and cause serious problems, some people will tell you raw bones can too but my vet says the benefits outweigh any risk .. and I am careful with them. Always separate your dogs if feeding high value snacks like bones .. even the best of friends will fall out 🙂 Julie x

What a sad situation. I'm sorry to hear Lily's owner has been so ill but pleased to hear she is on the mend. Wishing her a full and speedy recovery. I met Lily and her owner at training and they had a lovely bond this must have been such a difficult decision to make. Lily is beautiful and has a great personality I hope she finds a home very soon. X
