I met the lovely Meg at Sally's training class last night. Meg took it all in her stride and did really well. She is so dinky she ended up with the nickname mini Meg. It's a sad situation I hope she finds a home again soon.

I love Tulip too after meeting her on Sunday (she and Dingo were leaning on each other during the walk). Just wish I could talk hubby into the fact that two greys are better than one. Hope she is feeling better soon, she gets my hug today. Xxx

Tulip has come home with me tonight. She seems a bit under the weather. Her temperature is slightly up but I also want the vet to check her front leg as she retired from racing when she broke it but she is still limping..... always better to be safe than sorry..... she has just scoffed an extra bowl of dinner and is wagging her tail happily with all ours - think she is enjoying the company 🙂

I can’t believe this gorgeous boy hasn’t been snapped up. He has the sweetest personality and really enjoys a good cuddle. He is such a good looking boy – tall, dark and handsome with beautiful white flecks on his back and big amber eyes. Please may someone fall in love with him soon as I’m having increasingly heated discussions with my boyfriend about taking him home!

  • Sparky

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Sparky spent the day at the kennels yesterday while we helped out at the Open Day. He was a bit perturbed at first because it was so far out of the daily routine he's got used to, but he soon settled down and waited patiently for his walk and food whilst we got on with the enjoyable task of taking people's money!!! What an amazing day it was, very long & tiring but SO worth it. It was so lovely to see how happy Sparky was to get "home" at the end of the day, he leapt into the car and when we got back, had a mad play with his toy for quite a while, throwing it around and pouncing on it, bless him! He is such a beautiful boy who does seem to prefer his own company, he will spend time on his own and he doesn't pester you. He's been clean every night since he's been here and is a very quick learner - just hope the right home for him is out there somewhere very soon. Bless you my lovely boy. XxX
