So lovely to meet you earlier (we chatted at the end about Staffies!) I would suggest 1 of those thin vest/coat things as below....it would help let people know that Boo is nervous and they may call their dog off / lead them. Did you know about this? https://greatbritishgreyhoundwalk.org.uk/walks/brindley-heath-walk-201/

    I’m Homed

Sarah is doing really well. She's been staying with me for a few days to help Ruthy out! She is such a character n so loving n has bundles of energy. Even after a 2 .hr walk to the kennels n a 2.hr walk back home she still wants to play n follows me everywhere! She hasn't mastered the stairs yet so I'm carrying her up n down lol! She is totally house trained, great with my non grey Charlie n great with all other breeds we've met in the parks although she does get excited n wants to be off lead playing with them! She really is a lovely girl but a bit of a stress hard at the mo although learning everyday to chill out a bit more. She's gonna make a great addition to some lucky persons family although they will need to be understanding n give her plenty of time to settle in as this won't happen over night but she is defiantly making progress. I really hope she finds her forever home soon because she has so much love to give! I think she is best homed with another dog for support n company. Love this girlie! X

    I’m Homed

I would love to have seen Daisy trotting around the run with her food bowl, bless her. She is such an affectionate little girl and her personality is obviously starting to come through now. She is always ready to play with her toys when you go into her kennel and she is so good out on her walks. Fingers crossed for you sweetheart. X

Hi Aimee, I saw little Daisy's playful side today; after she ate her dinner this afternoon, she picked up her food bowl walked to the other side of the run with it and placed it gently on the floor. She looked very pleased with herself! Xxx

Hi Tracey, sounds like a plan!! We wont be there until later in the day but will be there. Jay is nothing like Bolt. He is Fawn. If you search for Amber under the homed dogs then you will see him.

  • Bunny

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Bunny has been at the kennels today and I heard that someone looked at her and fell for her but unfortunately she failed the cat test today, and to get this prospective home she had to be cat friendly. Over the last week at home with us, her personality has really begun to show and her confidence levels are on the up. I'm sure this explains her variable reactions to cats in the past, but at least we know for sure now that she is definitely not cat friendly. Never mind Bunny, I am sure there is a cat-free home out there for you. Anyone who wants a really loving girl who is already used to living in a home need look no further than this little sweetie. She will be at Daybreaks again tomorrow (Sun 16th June) xx

So lovely to read how well Bolt is doing, and his forever home is looking good so far. Typical greys though, if you had a room with 20 beds in, they'd still all want the same one!! Look forward to seeing you all on 30th and keeping fingers crossed Bolt's light will go green. xx
