Day: 8 Hi Caroline, just read your comment, Bolt behaved himself while I was at work, he has a new bed in my daughters room and seems happy to sleep in there while we out. Thought it best to keep the dogs separate when we are not home as we have had a few grumbles over the beds downstairs, they all want to go on the same one at the same time lol!! Getting on great at all other times though so the future is looking good for Bolt and his forever home, just hope he enjoys living with as much we love having him here!! Anyone who would like to say hi to Bolt again, we will all be coming along to the BBQ on 30th, I'm sure he would like to say thank you to all those who have looked after him at daybreaks!! He will also be enjoying a spa treatment along with his new brother & sister and to make the day even more memorable we are hoping we can change his light to rehomed!! Xxxx

Hi,we get this too with our Evi! Whenever she goes into the garden she snaps at bees and also when she's off the lead in the field we let our girls run in. So far she's been lucky, or we've managed to grab her - but I'm afraid one day she will be quick enough to catch one and I'm worried about what would happen if she gets a sting in the mouth? Sorry to hijack Tom's page but I'm also anxious to get advice on this just in case!

Hangs head in shame! I owe Norris a MASSIVE apology. He passed with flying colours, and didn't put a paw wrong. He has never done a two minute down stay, but he did last night. Well done Norris, we are all so proud of you. xxx

Hello Our Tom loves to chase bees!. We were worried the other night that he had been stung but thankfully not. Having bee loving plants in our garden the bees for some reason fly around on the patio, which is where our three greyhounds go for a wee etc. Last year I bought a bottle of children's Benydryl just in case he had a severe reaction as last Summer He got stung on his foot. I have read on the Internet conflicting advice on the dosage to give them if required and that the children's bottle is half the strength of the other one. I have read some good advice on how to treat stings but wondered if anyone can advise on this treatment. We do watch our three when they are outside but being greyhounds they are so quick to react to a bee and I want to be able to deal with any issues. Thanks.
