Sparky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Oh sparky what a shame I really hope that this situation is only temporary - please somebody take this lovely boy into your hearts and give him the home he so badly needs and deserves xx

Sparky

Sadly Sparky is unreserved as the new owners have decided it is not the right time to have a dog. I totally respect their decision and I am sure a home for Sparky must be just round the corner..... x

Davy (Davey)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Davy has been brought back into the Trust today. Unfortunately he keeps trying to bite the other greyhound who lives with when he gets excited. Davy is great with children, adults (loves women) and is good with some breeds of dog but very anxious with others. He is not cat friendly. Davy can be left during the day and is clean in the house. He is a very loving affectionate dog and his owners are broken hearted at having to rehome him but this really is the best thing for their other greyhound. The owners have tried to make this work but the situation is just becoming too stressful now and we feel this is the best thing for Davy.

Bunny
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Bunny has had an eventful weekend. She went to Julie's training class yesterday but without her friends Lola and Lena. She was quite stressed like most newbies are, but made friends with Daisy and met a few of the other greys and their owners. Then she spent the afternoon at Daybreaks just in case....she was shattered last night which wasn't surprising. Today we all had a lovely morning in Elmdon Park. She saw quite a few other dogs and although she was interested, she doesn't lunge or bark (hmmm unlike Lena....) Running dogs get her a bit more excited at the moment, but we will get her out and about more to see how this pans out. She spent the afternoon at the kennels again as we are so close by. She did seem glad to get back to ours and her 2 friends though. Hope you all like the new photos of Bunny looking less sad 🙂 Paul got lucky and managed to snap her sneaking another slurp from the bird bath! That's a habit she has learned from Lola! xxx

Hi Ruth . Gracie has settled really well with Max, Max just loves to have a girl around, more so if they wash his face. Thank you for letting me take extra time before committing myself to another hound, I very much miss Heidi she was a special girl full of love and always on your lap when I sat down. Gracie is a lovely girl getting better at asking for a fuss, she sleeps on my bed as Max doesn't want too, so I do get to cuddle her. Max and I would like to offer Gracie a forever home, will drop in to the kennels next weekend to make it official. Thank you again for your support and friendship love Caroline, Max & Gracie XXXXXXX

Yes we have been well and truly stitched up by Mrs B, but I was already regretting the 'foster' conversation by the time we got home. He is such a lovely boy, twice as big as he looked in kennels but seems to be a real softie. We have named him Jonty, the current Jonti in kennels reminded us of a sporting hero of ours (Jonty Rhodes) and I just think it is a lovely name. But from Rooney it could only get better! So now love from Jane, Joe, Foxy, Badger, Nina and Jonty xx And we definitely are not adding any more..............

We went to the kennels yesterday to look for a boy and Sparky was top of my list, but we said hello to some people as we walked in and they were walking out and it turned out they had just reserved him! Absolutely delighted for him and hope they all have a lovely new life together. Jane xx
