Dexter
I’m Homed
Dexter Update: - What a lovely boy Dexter is turning out to be, after a few days of being a bit unsure and a little bit insecure, he woke up on Saturday morning a different dog! Dont know what he was dreaming of but he is now totally settled, calm and a very happy boy with a real spring in his step. He really does make us laugh, he is a real character and soooooo nosy! He has been on lots of super walks with his new friends and never wants to get back in the car to go home. He will trap you in a corner if he can and squash upto you for a cuddle, and he can snuggle for England xxx

Oh Sparky this is such a shame, as rumblesmom says - let's hope that it is only a temporary thing and that your very own sofa is waiting for you somewhere very soon. Big cuddles sweetheart. xxxx

Sparky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Sadly Sparky is unreserved as the new owners have decided it is not the right time to have a dog. I totally respect their decision and I am sure a home for Sparky must be just round the corner..... x

Davy (Davey)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Davy has been brought back into the Trust today. Unfortunately he keeps trying to bite the other greyhound who lives with when he gets excited. Davy is great with children, adults (loves women) and is good with some breeds of dog but very anxious with others. He is not cat friendly. Davy can be left during the day and is clean in the house. He is a very loving affectionate dog and his owners are broken hearted at having to rehome him but this really is the best thing for their other greyhound. The owners have tried to make this work but the situation is just becoming too stressful now and we feel this is the best thing for Davy.

Bunny
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Bunny has had an eventful weekend. She went to Julie's training class yesterday but without her friends Lola and Lena. She was quite stressed like most newbies are, but made friends with Daisy and met a few of the other greys and their owners. Then she spent the afternoon at Daybreaks just in case....she was shattered last night which wasn't surprising. Today we all had a lovely morning in Elmdon Park. She saw quite a few other dogs and although she was interested, she doesn't lunge or bark (hmmm unlike Lena....) Running dogs get her a bit more excited at the moment, but we will get her out and about more to see how this pans out. She spent the afternoon at the kennels again as we are so close by. She did seem glad to get back to ours and her 2 friends though. Hope you all like the new photos of Bunny looking less sad 🙂 Paul got lucky and managed to snap her sneaking another slurp from the bird bath! That's a habit she has learned from Lola! xxx
