Sally
I’m Homed
Sally has been here nearly a week and we feel she has found her forever home! She is a beautiful girl, fun loving and settled in very well. Stan and Luke are very happy to have her here, as are the humans! We are working on a few house rules with her but Sally is very keen to please. All good at the moment, keep you posted!!

Buddy loved the snow this morning, ran round and round the garden, glad i am going to have the lawn removed and slaps put down as he has dug up lots off grass! On the down side though he has wet the carpet again while i have been out at work even though he "spent a penny" in the garden and when again when i took him for a walk before i went out.

What another stunner. I feel really guilty as I only tend to look at the girlies. Right, I'm going to start looking at them boys too. xx

Met this lovely girl today, and what a pretty little thing she is. As she has just arrived she is a little reserved at the moment, but she loves a fuss and happily and daintily tucked into her supper. I somehow think this beauty won't be with us for very long. x

Stanley

My sister's Greyhound, also called Stan...barked a lot during his stay at Daybreaks, but once he was in his own home and in a quieter environment didn't bark at all. I am sure all young Stanley needs is that forever sofa. I hope someone will soon give him a chance xxx

Another cold day at the kennels but the greys will all be tucked up warm with their coats and heaters on - and we will be drinking lots of hot chocolate and keeping on the move to stay warm..... roll on Spring!!!

I send you a virtual cuddle this morning, we'll finally be able to cuddle for real later today. The big question is "Will Daddy come away with two once he sees the little blue girl as well ;-)" How am I going to get through a day at work? with all of this excitement?

Stan is settling in lovely. We have got a new visitor this week called Sally and she is fitting in very nicely! Stan is a very gentle boy but with the help of Luke our other boy (not a grey!) he is finding his way. Sally is helping too! x x

Maggie
I’m Homed
I'll have to ring Ruth & then bring all 7 of us to kennels & see if she's ok with my 2 pooches. Our whippet still a puppy & desperately tries to instigate play.....all the time. Is Maggie from a home with another dog? I think she is. I'm home all day too so I can help with toileting issue if she still has. How is she around children? Hx She's been on my mind a bit, lovely girl x

Stanley
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I think the barking just a learned behaviour. He probably thinks the barking gets people to come & say hello. These little things easily picked up. Maybe he should be out of his kennel & on his lead this weekend so people meet him without the woof? Really super pooch though, we've met him a few times. My 3 sons like to meet him when we call in. Hx
