I've been sleeping all afternoon with Carrie in my bed , as I woke I had this sudden urge to do round and round the garden , like a teddy bear on her feet, but it just doesn't work with greyhounds , one step , two step three step , four step , five step , I'm still counting

I spent some time in his kennel with him on Saturday, and he really is lovely. Yes, he can be a bit bouncy, but this is because he is so excited to see you and have a bit of company. He soon settles, walks like a dream and enjoys having a fuss made of him. I hope he finds his forever home soon. x

Thanks folks, she is doing so well and starting to bond with our first girl Bess better now. We love her sooo much, she is so dainty, just like a little doll. Got her a bright pink Blizzard coat yeterday from Daybreaks, looks gorgeous in it. Recently had her Booster and Microchip done which she just took in her stride, bless her x

Jak
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Jak went severely lame over weekend so was really worried last night especially after looking at greyhound lameness info on tinternet. Luckily enough the vet found a small entry wound on his paw which opened when he really squeezed it and managed to get a small shard of glass out which must have been stabbing into him each time he put it to the floor :o(. Got some pain killers and need to keep an eye on him today so am taking day off work to give mommys brave little munchkin some much needed fuss xx :o). Thanks to Ruth and Louise for advice this morning. Was much appreciated xx

Good luck in your new home Isla. At least you will be nice and settled before Christmas so Santa can visit you. Love from Gemma too.

Daisy (Dee)

Daisy was a golden girl all night. Not a peep out of her. I left one of those battery operated candles on all night so there was a tiny light for her if she woke up. She chose to sleep on her sheepskin rug and not in her new basket. The sofas remain undiscovered as yet! She woke up about 7.30 and I was greeted with a waggy tail. Still a little nervous about her food but that will sort itself out. Looking forward to lots of hugs and fun with her. x
