Mo
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Mo is gaining in confidence and is making us laugh every day. One of our greys Josie is quite a nervous girl she ended up at Daybreaks after been found abandoned, covered in scars, nervous and really skinny. Josie was a bit nervous of Mo to begin with but the two have become good friends they play in the garden together and Mo has taken to licking Josie's nose. We had an incident yesterday where Mo snapped at Tigger fortunately we were there to stop her. Tigger is fine and Mo did not get her. Then today when we came in from the walk Tigger was sitting on the stairs Mo saw her didn't want to come in the house and tried to get back out of the door. We gave Mo a knot toy today as we caught her licking the tv remote. She really enjoyed playing with it. She has come on so much and has so much to offer. We really hope she can find her permanent home soon. If you are reading this and like the sound of Mo please get in touch with Daybreaks. Ruth has our numbers and we are more than happy to tell you more about Mo.

Libby (Holly)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I took Holly out to meet the family cat today and she did so well - she backed away rapidly as soon as the cat told her off! The family have a two year old son who is used to dogs, however the little boy seemed distressed when she wore the muzzle. To overcome this, we helped decorate the muzzle with Fireman Sam stickers and this seemed to help! Keeping my fingers crossed as she is a lovely little girl x

Jak
Over the Rainbow Bridge
To be fair JWB are sending me an env so I can send them a sample to check out and will compensate me if there is a prob with it. It will have to be in pouches though not dry as Jak is a Burns dog now. Only put him on JWB as he can be grain sensitive and I wanted him grain free. Thanks for your advice x. Jak had fun watching the Cadet band rehearsing this. morning and enjoyed the fuss from a few of the. cadets. Wasnt scared at all. Greys amaze me all. the time

Jak
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Jak'sMom .It's frustrating when feed companies change things and don't warn you isn't it ? It sounds like they may have increased something in their food that Jak doesn't like so I think you're doing exactly the right thing and listening to him 🙂 Many people say to leave the food down for a short time then take it up so the dog HAS to eat it but we find Greys will often just stop eating 🙁 so I'd rather find something my dog likes and is happy to eat .. Burns is a good ethical company and we've recommended Burns food for years for the greyhounds 🙂 so Jak has very good taste 🙂 J x

The lovely Dee is definately starting to gain in confidence now, and she loves being out on her walk. Still a bit wary of eating if anyone is watching her (?) but I think she just needs time and the security of her own home to blossom. x

Holly is such an affectionate and sweet girl. She was a little bit nervy out on our walk and jumped at a few loud noises, but this will go in tiem as swh gets used to her new surroundings. As it was so wet and muddy, I knelt down to clean her paws and legs when we got back and she thought this was a great game - she was fascinated by the wipes & kept giving me big kisses as I did each leg!! Such a sweetheart. xx

Come on Robbie! I can't believe those ears alone haven't got you a second chance in a loving home. Now that Katie has finally, finally got her deserved retirement, we need to get you and Cornelia sorted and soon.

I think Cornelia was a bit lonely when Katie first left. She lay quietly on her bed and looked subdued. I hope she is feeling less lonely today in the company of her brother, Piglett.
