Bob and I had a lovely day today. We went to the Evesham Country Park where we met my friend and her Jack Russell. I put the muzzle on Bob for the 1st 5 minutes and Skip went on the lead for about 1 minute and as Bob was not really bothred by him Anita let him off. No problems at all. 🙂 Afterwards I took Bob to Pets at Home. He was so excited when I got him out of the car and dragged me in there. I took him to see the rabbits and he stood right in front of them and just watched them all with his tail wagging like mad. He didn't cry, sing or try to get to them at all.....just loved looking at them. Then all hell broke loose.....2 kids were squeaking every toy in the shop. Their Mum saw the effect it was having on Bob and told them to stop. Bob pulled me back to the rabbits where we stood for another 15 minutes watching them. He didn't want to leave and I had to drag him out of the shop and then he wouldn't get in the car - he just kept trying to get back in the shop! We are going to do the Awareness Day at Pets at Home in Redditch next Saturday - should be fun! 🙂

This little girl just loves to see people. My sister brought her 2 grandchildren to visit today and Roxy's tail wagged so much I thought it was going to fall off!!! She adored the children (who are 9 & 7 and were very well behaved and sensible around her) dispensing plenty of kisses and then laying down for a tummy rub too!! We really hope that her forever home is just around the corner because she really deserves it. xx

Awww, it is very distressing for all concerned. BUT it has to be the right dog for the right home. Clearly Robbie wasn't happy in this situation (for whatever reason) but will find a more suitable home being promoted by Daybreaks. We fostered a dog (from somewhere else) for a month this year. Lovely as he was, he clearly never settled with us. We now have a new dog who has settled in straight away and gets on great with our first dog. We hear that the original foster dog is happy being back in kennels. Therefore a good decision all round. Horses for courses (so to speak!!) :O)

Hi Daisy beautiful. How did you get on with your training? Did you get lots of yum treats for being a good girly. Took the old girl out for a bit of a trot this morning. She let me go out NAKED which was nice seing as it was so warm. Saw a lovely couple who gave me some fuss. They've passed their home test and are coming up to the kennels in a few weeks :>)). Hi Spanner. We had mom Mindy after rehoming her from D/breaks for only 10mths until her loss just over 24 mnths ago, we also have Flojo her d/ter. But she was lovely & the best, so is Flojo, & I beleive her siblings take after her. Mindy had 17 pups some have preceded her, but there is Beritie & others with Gemma who show her lovely nature. Sylv You will now become a member of The New Icemaid Clan
