So happy to say that Dale continues to go from strength to strength. A quiet, undemanding boy who just loves people and a fuss, and now happily gives you a big kiss. He gets so excited when visitors come, his little tail goes round and round and he has to go up to everyone to say hello. He doesn't pester and will happily settle in his basket while you eat or do anything else. He will be coming into the kennels on Saturday to spend the day and be ready to introduce himself to a prospective new family - whoever decides on this boy will be getting an absolute treasure.

Dandy is sadly not going to France now. Whilst Fire and Joe are settling into their new life, it is felt that it would be best to postpone another grey joining their family. This is a decision which we fully support.

So pleased he is doing so well. After such an ordeal, it's great to see he is coping so well with other greys, a home environment and his post op issues. Bless his heart, he truely deserves a good home and soon! Only wish I could oblige, but alas, cannot have two with a baby on the way 🙁

An update on Jim.... he is doing absolutely brilliant! He is so relaxed and slept well last night downstairs. He loves the window seat and ate all of his breakfast this morning - he loves pilchards and grated cheese 🙂 He is finding his way around our house with ease despite such bad eye sight and is fantastic with all of our greys - not a grumble and he has stopped panting. He is such a gentle big fella - love him to bits. I am overwhelmed at the support we are receiving for him and have raised over £300 with generous donations so far! Thank you so much xxx

    I’m Homed

Barney came back yesterday and I agree with what Laura&Paul say, that he would really do well with the company of another grey. With regard to separation anxiety, this is something that can be helped but Barney had only been out since Sunday on trial so it was not enough time for him to get used to his new surroundings - sadly the neighbours were complaining and his owners were upset to return him. He is going out to foster today and we will see how he gets on being left with the company of another grey. Well done to Barney too, he gave blood yesterday and was extremely chilled out back at Daybreaks - I think he may have left his bark behind! 🙂

Jak's the same Shelly. Got to expect it really after all its sort of what they were trained to do. Hopefully they'll both get more used to them given time. Jak sends his bestest wag to Daisy xx

I took him back this afternoon. I think he would do well with another grey as he was quite clingy with us and suffered with seperation anxiety. Poor lad, he's so lovely. Give him a kiss and cuddle from us!!! X
