Dale
I’m Homed
Another good, clean night for the lovely Dale. He enjoyed his trip up to the Garden Centre this morning, drawing some enquiries from a couple of ladies who thought he was beautiful and took details of the kennels (here's hoping). Although he wasn't very good at playing with toys yesterday, Michael spotted him with a ball this afternoon - which turned out to be an onion he had picked up from the vegetable rack and was trotting proudly round with!!!! He gave it up without a problem, bless him. He is so excited and happy to see you when you come back from any absence, his tail going round like a propellor. He is small for a boy, and curls up into a lovely tiny ball in his basket and on the sofa and is absolutely no trouble atall. He is shaping up to be a fabulous companion, I really hope it happens for him very soon. xx

i wondered whether he had problems with his eyes as they look so opaque but thought it may be the light of the camera. poor little man at long last he will know a bit of love and comfort, hope they can sort him out and that the weak back end is mainly due to not getting any exercise at all. big cuddle to you beautiful boy, hope to get to meet you. xxxx

This handsome lad arrived today as his owner has gone into hospital. Jim has been in a home but has lived in a kennel following his failed racing career in 2002. Sadly he is blind in one eye, almost blind in the other, has awful teeth, a growth on his stomach and a weak back end 🙁 He is booked into the vets for Monday and we are appealing to your generous nature to help towards his care. Just click the donate button on the right side of his profile page to help him. Massive thanks to Lorna and Paul who have offered a foster home to this lad to help him back on his feet.

I wish I could take him home. The oldies have always tugged at my heartstrings but until I got one I was afraid to do so as we might not have long enough together. Then having had a 4 year old for only 3 1/2 ( wonderful) years it has changed my outlook and seeing how grateful 9 year old Teddy is at having his first home comforts makes it all worthwhile. Good luck lovely Jim xx

Buddy (Arthur)
I’m Homed
Arthur is still coming on so well. He's so different from when we first had him. He loves his cuddles and his daily groom in the garden. Not to mention all his treats. He's just had some yummy pork rolls, liver cake and special cakes made by Wilsons pet bakery (with his name on lol). He also loves his afternoon play session, where we throw his cuddly toys in the air and watch him catch them. After the year we've had losing our Golden retriever and our Springer, he's brought back some fun into our lives. Love him xx

Eve
I’m Homed
Well Eve has been here a week and a half and is settling in great. Still cant manage going up the stairs but is getting better coming down. She is superb when meeting other dogs but 'pogo's on the spot if she sees other dogs running (much to other dog owners amusement). Though she was a bit sluggish on her evening walk due to pinching a whole maltloaf out of the cupboard and scoffing it before I realised what had happened. Need eyes on the back of my head lol. Eve is slowly getting used to the horses and isnt as fearful with them. She is well behaved with the chickens and superb with the children. A truly lovely girl. xx
