i really wonder whether it is the way a small puppy moves that makes them react differently. Daisy is absolutely fine with other breeds big and small but when she sees a tiny puppy she just freezes and then licks her lips...LOL...more like its bait than another dog....only if they are small breed pups tho', however i have noticed that they seems to have totally different movement to grown up small dogs and have often wondered whether it is something of a trigger. as to what to do? well i just tend to shorten her lead and tell her 'No' when she shows too keen an interest, i do not try and let her sniff the pup unless i have a muzzle handy as i really do not know whether i can trust her at that moment and i rather play safe.

oh how lovely for him, i bet he misses Daisy, she was lucky as she went straight to having 3 big black brothers instead of just one as i am sure she would have missed Max dreadfully had she been an only grey....Nana looks ever so like Daisy and it's just great to hear that they are getting on so well. well done Max Nana and Caroline. love from Ina and the gang. xxx

Buddy (Arthur)
I’m Homed
Arthur is still doing fab. He walks with loads of other breeds from westies to great danes and he takes no notice of any of them. However he seems a bit too interested in a puppy jack russell who is always off lead. I've tried to introduce him nicely to her. But he can't take his eyes off her and I'm not sure if he got too close he make try and grab her. Its strange with every other dog he's fine. He's met a couple of shitzhus and other jack russells and he hasn't took any notice. Any suggestions?

Congratulations! The girls I go running with keep talking about how frightened poor Alfie was of us when we met you in Sheldon Country Park the other week, and keep hoping we'll bump into you again so they can meet Bambi!

Buddy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
This boy is just a big softie, he loves nothing more than to lie on the floor next to the sofa and have his belly rubbed. Easy to walk and gets on well with other dogs. Very placid. Great with small children and so good looking. Where's that permanent home for you Buddy, I can't recommend this lad enough. Travels really well in the car too as you'd expect from a grey. Love ya Buddy, I haven't forgotten you. x x

Red
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Yesterday Red moved house and has gone to Zoe and Steve's to be fostered until he has finished his treatment. I am so very very grateful to Tracey who has been an absolute star for looking after Red for so long and helping him through his recovery. I bet your house is quiet now but at least Heather's pottery projects are safe! x

Amber (Bow)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
And so the Amber saga continues........ she had the drain taken out a few days ago, all seemed well and then she started crying when she lay down and was pemanantly giving Jan and I the 'sorry' eyes. It was then we noticed another sack of fluid at the bottom of the scar (which is healing very well!) so it's back to the vets tomorrow again....... ho hum! I must say despite Ambers appealing quantities there are times I wish I had had another grey instead, I would have 6 Jays to one Amber!
