Jack
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Jack has just arrived back at Daybreaks. His owner needs an operation and is therefore unable to keep him.

Frankie (Jet)
I’m Homed
Well, it's only taken 8 months but I *think* we might have cracked this cat training lark! For 3 nights running, Frankie has lain nicely next to Monty-cat (muzzled of course, Frankie not Monty!) and not tried to eat him! Poppy-cat is still rather sensibly giving her a wide berth, but hopefully the perseverance has finally paid off :0) Shhhhh, don't tell the other 3, but I think Frankie is turning into the perfect grey - not that she was far off that in the first place:0)

Red
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi T... great news that Red is doing well. These boys do like to keep us challenged. Tanking round the garden is so NOT a good idea but they don't think like us do they? I'm sure all they know is 'Today I feel good' and 'I'd like to run around' so we get to have all the stress! Bless him....sounds like a lovely boy. Norris has been with us about a month now and is starting to really show his personality which at times can be a little cheeky! Red is well ahead of him in being in a home so I can imagine where he is at LOL! Keep up the good work x

Mr Sheldon..... well! what a lovely lovely dog. He's a big lad, however is so quiet, sleepy and cuddly you wouldn't know. He loves coming over to you and popping his head on your neck and has the cheek to try and sneak some kisses in there too!! He hasn't grumbled at all at our other greyhound despite the fact she's kindly asking him not to take her tennis balls and chew them up...again!!! Currently he's flat out on the floor in our bedroom. Not sure who's taught him how to get on a sofa and stretch the whole length of it mind!! He's settled straight in to our home, he's house trained and, well... he's just lovely!! He needs some practice at obedience (both on lead and around food!), however isnt that all greys who are awaiting their home?! He is also quite distracted by small dogs and other fluffies, with time he'll be grand. He knows where our Guinea pigs live and hasnt bothered them at all. Love him! we'll certainly miss him when he goes back to the kennels this weekend, however I am positive he'll find his sofa forever pretty soon. A true gent.

Red
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Red is continuing to get better & better. He is really beginning to bear weight on his poorly leg, and its all I can do to stop him tanking round my garden! Another week and his bandage should be off forever, then its reveiw time on whether the plate stays or goes. He is a sweetheart, loves a fuss, and pretty good at kisses now. He is also a terrible thief & chews his booty when we are not looking, LOL. xx

Pearl
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Thanks Emma- that's so lovely to hear! Pearl was so beautiful and had such an infectious personality mixed in with her moments of madness (mainly if she saw a cat or squirrel), but she was so loving and affectionate. I think only dog lovers will truly know the pain of losing your pet. They're your best friend and companion. Beau has settled in so well, it's unbelievable! She and Derry are getting on really well and spent the day sleeping next to each other. It's great to have a dog who loves playing with toys as much as Pearl. She's following us everywhere and has already learnt to climb the stairs!! Beau is so pretty and a great addition to our family. Thank you! Xxxx
