I hope people are realistic about taking her for what she is, a puppy, and not a retired greyhound and the same scenario that Amber went through doesn't ocurr!! She does look a lovely girl though!

This little girl is very fine featured and has a lovely pretty little face.She is quiet and clean in her kennel and her picture doesn't do her any justice at all.

Fire
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Fire, I believe, is officially enjoying the chilled home life of a retired greyhound. He is now clockwork with our routines and loves just being "one of the boys". The fluffy toys are becoming less of an impact with him and he seemed less keen with the other breeds (hopefully it's a start) when we passed them by on our walks. He has a trademark move when he is asking for a fuss. He would rest his chin on top of Denn or Floppy's back, sofa, bed or your lap. His third picture on this profile, THAT is his trademark move together with Puss-in -boots eyes to match. He is sooo adorable and funny. Fire is one greyhound that will really warm your heart.

Larry

Larry sounded like Fire by the way you described his first few days with you. Don't worry, the worst has come and all you see as the days pass will be Larry gradually succumbing to retirement life, lol. Once he has fully adjusted to your routines, he'll calm down and enjoy pleasing you. Fire (now almost a month with me) is not the same fidgety, anxious dog he was when I took him home for fostering. Time really is an ally. I am sure Larry will be in the right path now that you are looking after him. Good to hear you are enjoying fostering. Fire is my fourth one. The joy of seeing these greyhounds adjust to home life and finally getting their forever home is so rewarding. Keep up the good work with Larry! Here's hoping Fire and Larry will have their forever loving family soon. - Myrna

Bailey is off to the vets for an x-ray next Wednesday as he is very uncomfortable with his leg being touched. We will keep you posted with the results.
