I’m Homed
I very sensibly sent 3 of them back home with my hubby last night, leaving me with just Frankie (Chaotic Frankie - the one on the furthest right) seeing as she's a teeny tiny dot and I *thought* she'd be the one least likely to hog the bed. Well, after spending the night perched on the edge of the bed I can safely say that I got that one wrong! Absolutely shattered now, but at least Ruth and Robbie got some kip as the kennel dogs were on their best behaviour now that they're back to their normal routine (sorry Jill!) Em xxx

Red
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Red was at the vets yesterday. He was going to have the plate removed but as his wound & skin have healed so well and showing no irritation the plate has stayed in for now. He will be reviewed in 2 weeks. Unfortunatley Red has a very upset tum last night and had probs going for a wee, so it was a rather sniffy house this morning. Thankfully he has kept down his light breakfast & small drink of water - after he burped a big drink of water - silly lad sneaked it when I was upstairs, only put it down for R & B to top up!!! I live & learn again....... luv t

Billy
I’m Homed
Billy was x-rayed yesterday to try and find out why he is so uncomfortable with his right front leg being touched. The x-rays showed no obvious problems so he is going to be kept on Metacam pain relief for a couple of weeks and then review him again. We are really pleased there is nothing serious to worry about 🙂

Carrie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Carrie's latest exploit reminds me of our first rescue grey, Maggie. We had 2 little dogs and it took us ages to realise that Maggie could reach things. In the early days she managed to steal and eat a rhubarb crumble, a whole bag of expensive spelt flour and best/worst of all the christmas cake when I had just drenched it in brandy! No need to tell you of the digestive consequences---suffice to say there was a lot of clearing up to do and we eventually learned to put stuff out of reach.
