Joey
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well, Joey has now been with us for two days and is settling in very well. He is quite thin but very waggy tailed and loves a fuss. We are having to re-learn that all edibles must be kept out of reach, he is a very tall dog and managed to snaffle some Toblerone from the back of the kitchen work surface! Just licked it though so no harm done. Yes he will have lots of naughty treats in Padstow and lots of lovely walks with his new sister Iris. Thanks for all your good wishes xx

Luna has settled in happily with Flame, who is a little put out at having to compete with such a pretty girl, but they have been running together in a very safe local field. Thanks to Ruth and all who have cared and wished her well.

Larry
Over the Rainbow Bridge
After enjoying fostering Jack so much I decided to foster another! Larry is good with our Retrievers but is very interested in the chickens and the cat. I reckon he will be cat trainable as he was keen, but not overly keen. He is food obsessed (aren't they all!) but is learning that food placed at head height isn't put there specially for him. Larry appears to be a really clever chap, albeit a bit pushy, but I think he will be easy to work with and quite trainable. He is still a little stressed and wondering around a lot, but he absolutely adores his toys and goes nuts for squeaky ones. He is excellent at 'killing' the pheasant and has tried to remove its head and legs several times now.

My cuddle for you today boy - you see everyone come and go around you & you're still here, but are waiting patiently for your new home like a real trooper. Such a lovely boy, a gentle giant, who deserves a chance. xxx

Luna and Lyric both being homed. That makes me very happy and helps me remember how there are very kind people in the world which just about cancels out the evilness of how some of these dogs are treated. Yo luna ! Yo lyric ! X

Joey

Every time I see dogs returned like Joey I can't help but think how very lucky they are to have the kennels, Ruth and such wonderful volunteers to come back to. Too many dogs don't even have that. Good luck Joey and have a pasty for me.
