Belle
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I was at the kennels when she arrived-the trainer said she loves the attention. She is a real cutie the photos don't do her justice.

Nibs
I’m Homed
Nibs is amazing!! Walked him yesterday an he was so gentle on the lead and wasn't too bothered by a bird that was in the middle of the lane and didn't move til we were up close he and Jack (who is also very good on the lead!) just looked at it and carried on. Completely fell in love with both of them and hope they both get homes quickly and that people dont overlook them just because they are big and black, they both have the most beautiful and gentle natures 🙂 xxxx

Hope
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Rosie. I'm gald she's learning and improving. She sounds like she's becoming a little monkey in the house. They don't take long to negotiate stairs, or get on beds!! The sooner she loses her nerves around people the better it will be for her. Give the munchkin a hug for a us, and good luck! Keep us posted.

Hope
Over the Rainbow Bridge
An update on Hope from her new home - she's settling in well around the house although still nervous on walks, but improving every day with lots more sniffing going on, generally fairly relaxed meeting other dogs, and getting slightly better with meeting people. She's very bright and inquisitive and seems to have a taste for biscuits (taken off the kitchen work surface), the froth on the top of a cappuccino, and "reading" magazines or newspapers! She is learning from the other 2 greys, Sean and Jack, how to go upstairs, get on the bed, but also useful things like "wait" before crossing the road and before taking her bedtime Dentastix. She's already captured the hearts of fellow dog walkers in the park and they're rooting for her and looking forward to seeing her develop. We're looking forward to it too!

So Sorry to hear about Leah, having lost my boy only a few days ago, I know what you are going through. But she had a good long and happy life, and that was because of the love you gave her.

Dolly (Maisy)
I’m Homed
Unfortunately, it's probably not the best weather for it! However, I think it has helped - she seems much calmer inside at work, quite chilled in fact. On our walks she has still been panting but she is a little bit more relaxed, her tail is not plastered tightly between her legs and she's taking the scenary in rather than dragging me about desperate to get back to the car. I have been ignoring the bangs too and not making a fuss of her so that may have helped too. It hasn't 'cured' her anxiety but I certainly think it has helped. A good buy, I think!

Dennis (Artem)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Artem is a lovely boy, whilst we had him for such a short time he was very clean in the house, he got on great with our other 4 greyhounds and loved their company. Loves his food very much and his bed! Walks lovely on the lead but is anxious when walking by a busy road. Sorry we couldn't keep you for longer and I'm missing you already, I know the right home will be just round the corner. Best wishes, little (big) man.xxxx

Marty (Arty)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We have just had a non-grey visitor to meet Marty. My friend brought her beautiful golden retreiver. I had Marty muzzled and on a tight lead but my goodness was he strong! We managed a few calm moments, at one point Marty even relaxed on his bed for a few seconds until the 'stranger' reappeared from behind the sofa. The two girls didn't make any fuss at all but they have met Jimmy before. Once my friend had left Marty promptly did a giant wee on the carpet, even though the back door to the garden was open. Perhaps he was re-marking his territory or was he telling me off for having allowed a strange dog in the house. Marty's now sitting by the front door waiting for Douglas to come home so he can tell him about his exciting afternoon!
