Hi Nutellajar xxxx Sam was from Daybreaks, and was retired, a young 5 when we had him, we also have two others from Daybreaks. I'm afraid it is up to your parents, however you could get a copy of the 'grapevine' which always has interesing info on the greys, and i'm sure if you ask Ruth at the kennels she would also give you a DVD which explains a little more about factors when considering a greyhound, and 'need to know' facts for caring for them. If you share these with your parents then they would have more food for thought xxxx

We had a reasonably settled first night , and Im sure she will soon understand that me getting up in the middle of the night doesn't mean she has to , she did have a couple of accidents overnight , one was the unmistakable sound of a wee when I was in bed , but she was very quick to run to the backdoor when I jumped out of bed and said NO. Teddy seems to be showing her what to do , so Im quick to respond if he barks at the backdoor downstairs and she just watches, Shes now been out of the muzzle all morning apart from when I popped out to the shop and she had a tiny little very ladylike bark last night

It's exactly a year today since we took Max home with us and our life changed for the better. What a wonderful boy he is - he asks for nothing and gives so much. He is so loving and comes up for cuddles all the time when I am working from home. He looks fantastic and is so polite and well behaved. Time for treats I think, special boy .....................

Shes been showing an interest in the outbuilding where I keep Coal and Wood and I haven't been able to work out why , until I took her Muzzle off for breakfast , she just ran into the outbuilding launched about 6 foot into the air and grabbed the beef bones that Eve and Teddy had finished with one day

Hi Nutellajar! With most of the greys that come to us, we know a month and year of birth. Therefore I always choose the 1st of the month which is why so many may seem to have the same date of birth on here but are not at all related!

So far so good! Sadie is settling in well she is chilled out most of the time with playful bursts. She certainly knows how to play!! She knows where to go to the toilet and has now mastered stairs. Shes a sociable dog who is good with my children. xx
