Over the Rainbow Bridge
I went out to visit Lola in her new home today and finalise the paperwork. She has settled in brilliantly with the children and cat! Her coat looks shiny and she is eating well. So pleased - thanks Claire for giving her a lovely new home.

Gold is now cuddled up on her bed with an eye on the black thing!, n Joan is curled up on the sofa with me. We've got a black girl and she's got a stunning coat. Ok she has a bald(ish) bum, but the rest of her is beautiful and glossy. It's so sad that you might be missing out on the most incredible dog, just because of their colour. Go and spend some time with our black beauties, you'll know if they're the dog for you (they'll let you know!) and don't be put off by the boys. I know it sounds funny, but after a while, you really don't see them as big. Our big boy is a lot less work than our petite girl and as I always say, there's also more of them to cuddle! Mand x

It is great news that Alfie is settling in well and Laura who has taken him on is hoping to adopt him officially very soon. He really is coming out of his shell now and enjoyed a day visiting the kennels whilst Laura volunteered.

I am so pleased that Jester is starting to get his appetite back and is eating better. He was a good boy at our house but he is back at the kennels now keeping Polly company.

Lucy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Lucy had one tooth out on Thursday and has got to go back again next week for another injection to help her infected gums. On arrival back at the kennels following her op, she was just as she usually is - happy, bouncy and glad to see Doc her kennel mate who she adores!

My heart breaks for Arty along with Shane, Stevie and Doc - our handsome black boys at Daybreaks. They are continuously overlooked because of their colour - yet they are all gentle boys. Please please look past their colour and come and visit them. All of them are clean in their kennel, quiet and love a cuddle x

Kelly

I really hope someone could find it in their heart to offer Kelly a home. She is the sweetest girl who is great with other greys. She loves to play with her toys and is very affectionate.
