So many lovely hounds looking for a home at the moment. I am giving my cuddle today to Lucy having been there so long. Having received the latest newsletter with Lucy in it along with Rocky and Arty I think, I really hope she will find a home soon.

lol... Big mistake in the microwave! What I do if its still a bit frozen just put a bit of boiling water on it. You will get into a routine, I just get three out each night, and store them in a tuberware container, normally they are pretty defrosted in the morning. Good luck let me know how you are getting on with it. xxxxxxx

Hello Sharon We had much the same issue with our Rose who wouldn't come in our lounge very often whilst James and Tom were in there. I always thought she was left out as she seemed to prefer to stay in the dining room in her own bed. That was until we recently bought a doggie duvet from Homesense, it is a square flattish cushion with a washable cotton cover - it was the best £19.99 we have ever spent as now Rose is the first one to go in our lounge and lie down, now we can't get her out of there. The cushion was that good we bought another two so all of our three have one and they snuggle up on them for hours. Although at times James or Tom will venture off to their own bed. I think at times they do like a bit of space to themselves. I don't think you should worry too much as I am sure Lily will soon be back in the lounge with you.

Just echo what Linda has said, my Blossom likes time out too. She will disappear off to our dining room for an entire evening sometimes and wont come when I call her (although that half hearted on my part as I know she is happy). I worried at first but Ruth explained some dogs just do this. So I leave her to it. I think also its a safe retreat for her when she gets a bit worried by visitors coming in, especially men or someone new! I still feel like she is being left out, but if I call my boy Reubes for some loves & cuddles she comes trundling through pretty quickly - never one to miss a cuddle is my girl. luv t

Hi, no I just half the tube of meat in the morning and the other half in the evening for each dog, with a cup full of mixer food each feed. Dosen't look alot, but I think the meat is filling?! I think you would have to judge the amount of biscuits for each dog. Billy is huge 38kgs so he has a few more biscuits with his meat, and they still have treats in there kong when I go to work, but as I say they all look fab and healthy. Defo worth a try Mau. xxxx

Bobby has settled in well. He has chosen his spot on the sofa and favourite place in the garden, made friends with the neighbours and many of the "usual suspects" that we meet and run with on the park. He likes to follow Guzzi (my whippet) just about everywhere and was happy to be included in the family New Year meal (possibly something to do with the quantity of meat which got dropped on the floor). The only downside that he's found is the cat, which he politely ignores, and this seems to work well.

Hi Mau, Yes any one can order from them, or you can collect. They are on padgets lane, opposite the Arrow Valley. Its not a very nice place, if you have a tickled stomach! I buy tripe and chicken they come in 1lb tubes. I buy the mixer dry food from them to, its about £10 for 15kg bag. I only use the mixer to bulk out the raw meat. They also deliver for free, if you order over £40 I think. Hope this helps. Its a great way to feed the Greys in a very inexpensive way, and they love it and look fab on it to. xx

Izzy (Belle)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I have been to visit Belle and her owners this evening. She is still having separation anxiety and we are helping her owners to tackle this. She is starting to improve but it is such a change from the life she knows and still early days. I really admire their love, dedication and support for Belle and hope she starts to settle very soon.
