thankyou for your advise on the food i will look up this place in redditch. i do not measure the food i just use 2 large cupfulls she is a bit of a pig she eats anything even remote controls lol

if i could adopt this girl i would but my parents don't want a greyhound and we have a little shnauzer so..... but 5 months is to long for this little girl to be at the kennels so somone adopt this girl in time for christmas!!!!

Lucy looks and sounds such a lovely girl. We adopted dingo who was in the kennels a long time too and how he got looked over is beyond us as he is one of the most loving, playfull dog you could meet and we wouldn't be without him now

Hi Becky, noticed you left a comment to Emma re: boot space, I have a ford galaxy and can get 4 comfortably in the back still leaving 3 seats available in the middle plus front passenger seat, didn't know wether that may be helpful. Jill.

A very belated thanks to everyone for their advice - I would still love to add another dog to our family, but one of our geriatric cats is now ill so it doesn't seem fair to him at the moment (and the vets bills are just a bit pricey!). Thanks to Ruth for your help today - lovely to see you and cuddle a few dogs when I was there!

Hi Becky - oooh lucky Star! I have a Honda Accord which fits the 4 hounds and 2 kids - however, Frankie and Sadie are little tiddlers (22.5kg and 23.5kg respectively) so this might give you a false impression. I wanted a V70 as I'd had a Volvo previously and loved it, but (and I was shocked to discover this) my 13 year old daughter couldn't fit her legs in the back! I'm tall so have the seat right back and this would have been a problem for the kids who aren't getting any smaller! The Accord has plenty of leg room for me and the girls so is perfect for us. I'm only in Solihull so if you want to meet at the kennels I don't mind popping by for you to see if your pack can fit in? Or I'll be at Kingsbury Walk next Sunday. Hi Deb - ha ha, my hubby knows better than to try and ban me from doing anything! Seriously though, he's just as thrilled as me with our new little girl - hard not to be though :0)

nearly 4 months this little beauty has been at Daybreaks, that's a long time for any hound but surprisingly long for a girl greyhound who is as sweet and as pretty as Lucy. Lucy loves people and is a happy little girl and i wish her a forever home before christmas as her very special christmas present...please someone come and visit Lucy and see what a special little girl she is and take her home to give her the love she deserves. big hug Lucy...xxxx
