Jack
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Jack has just got back from the Annual Dog show and he loved every minute and was so well behaved. He saw a load of his kennel pals and was on his best behaviour (obviously trying to impress the 'Best Black Dog' judge, but failed miserably)! When he was in ring 4 though, the judge kept squeaking a toy and Jack jumped up - all 4 legs off the ground to a height of about 4-5ft - as if he was on a trampoline. I though for a moment that I had a Gazelle in disguise on my hands. To console him in his disappointment for not coming home sprorting a rosette, he's now sporting a sparkly new diamond i.d. tag instead. He thinks this looks a lot cooler than a rosette but now he has a little bling, he's acting like he belongs to Jay-Z or someone like that - he'll be wanting dental implants next! He also met his old trainer Tracey and recognised her straight away which was really lovely to see. I now have a problem . . . . . . Jack tasted some of Ruth's liver cake and he nearly took my arm off when he'd got a nostril full of the treat. Of course, that meant I had to come home with 3 bags! Can you please let me have the recipe? A great day out Ruth and well done to all involved and I hope you raise oodles of cash to provide these beautiful animals with the lifestyle they so richly deserve.

Heidi (Mitzi)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I brought Mitzi home with me last night as she was laying on the floor in her kennel as I was locking up and I couldn't leave her, especially being one day post op. She has been really good - a couple of accidents which is only to be expected but is getting on really well with mine and very happy to be on her own also. She will make someone a really great pet - especially for first time owners I think.

Ellie-May
Over the Rainbow Bridge
well the test came back inconclusive, too much bacteria in the biopsy. there were no cyrstals present so i know that it is not a stone in the bladder. I think what we are dealing with from what the vet explained is a large maligment tumor attached to her bladder wall. ellie cried out when the vet felt her tummy. Plan now is ellie booked in at fivelands on tues morning to have a camera put into her bladder and take a tissue biopsy , also to have her lungs and abdomen x -rayed. Well whatever the result she will have the best love and care from her family as usual and more. love her to bits. xx
