George (Stevie Sunshine)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
It brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes when Stevie Sunshine saw his trainer Steve today when he visited. It was clear that Stevie remembered him and his tail didn't stop wagging frantically. Steve and Louise brought all the Daybreaks inmates treats, bones and pilchards which I know they will love. My love goes to Steve (and Louise) during Steve's terrible illness and I am grateful he was able to come to visit Daybreaks and see his ex-racers (Arty, Ronnie and Stevie) who meant the world to him.

Fizz

Hi, Just a quick update, Fizzy is doing really well. Had a few problems with her when we went to work, so had to have a crate, as she trashed the kitchen/diner. Ooops. Soon cleaned up though. No real damage. The crate seems to be working ok, think Fizz is finally getting to know our routine, and that we have to work and will come back. Apart from that, she is smashing and we love her to bits. xx

Thanks Ruth 🙂 Ina has been by today and left me the number of another hound in Uttoxeter so I will give his mummy a ring and see if we can get the boys together...hopefully that will help blue a bit! 🙂 x

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LITTLE BROTHER ROSSI....he is 6 years old today and has now been a pet greyhound for longer than he was a racer...he had his 3rd gotcha day on the 19th!!! lovenlicks from Toby and Mckenzie xxx ps happy birthday my baby boy...lots and lots of love from your mummy 🙂 xxxx

Macca is an absolute star!! Loves his walks - now without his muzzle as he's so good with other dogs. He still has this "thing" about his bowl stand - he has a brilliant appetite(!), but won't eat from his bowl unless someone is holding it for him. It's the same with his drinks, only worse! He won't drink from his bowl at all, but will drink if you put water into your hands and offer it. Isn't it odd??? Other than that, he is a happy boy, adapting very very well to being a much loved member of the family. He loves playing in the garden where has discovered the pleasures of digging. chloe i know more than anyone how much your hurting ,my heart breaks for you and for char i cry every time i think about it ,char is ok iv spent lots of time with him today and his had a pigs ear and two walks,i know nothing anyone says will help you chlo no one blames you its not your fault.the family that picked him today are really lovely chlo you will like them they are just like us.thinkin of u chlo love you kerry xxxxxxxxxxxx
