Jack
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Fiona. I can't wait to pick him - I'm so nervous - I feel like an expectant father!! You were right though, even though Joey was lovely, as soon as Jack came into the yard, it felt like he chose me. Thanks for patience and advice during my first visit and both of us hope to see you again. Darryl xx

As we already have a Joey at the kennels, this Joey must be Mr Grey Face..... he is absolutely adorable and his little grey face makes him look far older than he is.

Fergie (Little Pea)

Poor little pea broke a nail today while playing and believe me when a grey squeals the whole world hears it, they are such wimps but she soon calmed down and soaked up the kisses snacks and tickles for hours and hours and really milked it, bless her xx

A belated happy birthday for Cookie - she had a massive bone on the day and a good walk in Sutton Park. She's also updated her blog www.cookiethegreyhound.com

I fell in love with this little girl at the weekend - she is beautiful and loved leaning up for a cuddle. She's Cookie's half sister and I would snap her up if my lovely madam wasn't quite such a madam! She'll make a lovely pet for someone and has lots of love to give.

Lily

Hi Sharon No problem 🙂 We're all here to help each other especially as we've usually had greys like yours ourselves 🙂 They are very different to 'real' dogs LOL and have had a different upbringing and of course have been working dogs so have had different routines 🙂 Like people they need a bit of time to get used to changes but they do get used to retirement - some do it quicker than others but they all get there 🙂 In my experience most of the unwanted behaviours ... pulling on the lead, not toileting outside, barking/lunging at other breeds is because they're scared of this whole new world and just need time and understanding and a bit of training :). Your Homechecker will be able to help I'm sure and if you ever can't contact her and need help we are all happy to do what we can .. our numbers will be in the Pack that you got with Lily or ask on here 🙂 Best wishes Julie 🙂
