Female + credit card = trouble!! I was hoping to pick my beautiful boy up today but I've been struggling with a recurring back problem all week. If the back feels up to it, I'll come and get Jack tomorrow but if the back needs further rest, I'll be coming for him next Saturday. xx

It's Happy Gotcha Day for our little pocket rocket today. Twelve months ago we picked Emily up from Aunty Ruth's house. Should have known what a little rascal she would be from the start - she was trying to climb Ruth's stairs only a few days after she'd been speyed and she does like to make her presence known at between 5-6 am every morning! She's bought lots of laughter to all our lives and I love her to bits, even though we are a bit sleep deprived these days! See you all at the Gathering next week. Mand x

Wow, that is a wonderful offer, especially as the insurance companies wouldn't cover his eye treatment. Fantastic to know that wonderful people do exist in this world and that they love greyhounds too !!!!! Big thumbs and paws up to Andre xxxx

It has not been a good day all round.... we now have a poorly Seamus on our hands. I have spoken to Andre the vet who operated on him yesterday and he will be coming home with me tonight..... Joey is now off to stay with the lovely Ray and Val as he is not contagious like Seamus.

Ronnie was such a brave boy today. As he has an auto immune disease of his eyes he has to have injections directly into his eyes (as well as eye drops). Andre the track vet has said that anyone considering adopting Ronnie can be assured that he will treat this condition for free which is beyond generous. I really hope this fella will be chosen soon as he is a fabulous boy.

Joey is a very poorly boy at the moment. He struggled coming round from his anaesthetic and Debbie the vet nurse took him home last night to keep an eye on him. His throat has swollen and we are awaiting for blood test results to see what is the next step with him. Until then, he will be stopping at our house where he will get ultimate TLC x

Goldie has been returned as she is still showing interest with the cats. As the family are upset at returning her, I would be grateful if there are no comments left about her return.

Don't worry you can get all of these things at the kennels... Blue and red look fab on the black boys! I've just ordered a blue blizzard for my fly! There are loads of lovely house collars and martingales at the kennels too.. Jack is handsome so he will look fab in anything! You should either fetch him sunday or come back sunday with your credit card ansd I will shop with you ha ha! I love buying for greys... They look fab in everything. As for treats, mine love pigs ears, liver treas, dentastix, basically in moderation. A fat greyhound isn't a good look and it isn't healthy. As long as they don't have chocolate or onion your pretty safe with most treats. I avoid bones cos mine get a funny tummy. If you feed him burns he will be getting everything he needs diet wise and you can add rice, pasta, pilchards, tuna etc. Oily fish is fab for a shiny coat. You'll soon learn what he loikes and doesn't like and everything I've listed above is available from the kennels. Don't worry you'll do great! Xxxxxx
