I've only bought some treats and foodie things so far. Handsome boy collars and coats?? I might struggle with that one. I can barely buy things that look good on me, let alone my new companion! What would you class as a handsome boy collar and coat? I'm colourblind too so this could be potentially disastrous! I've heard about the kongs so I'll get one of those and I saw a squeaky toy in the shop today but it was that loud, everyone around me in the shop stopped and looked at me like I had a intestinal problem! Do greyhounds like bonio's and stuff like that? I'll get Dentastix and I've seen some cheesy treats but I don't know what greyhounds are intolerant to. I think your advice will be invaluable because I haven't shopped for toys, collars or coats yet. Thanks a lot Fi, it's appreciated xxx

Ronnie was the lucky one of the three boys being castrated today - he is off to stop at Ray and Val's house tonight where he will be guaranteed lots of cuddles.

Bath time photos are on now! Sorry for the delay Sara! Hoping he is feeling ok - he was castrated today and sadly as we are at the Trevor Burton Charity Gig tonight, I have been unable to bring him home and look after him post op as I like to with all our op dogs 🙁

What is on your list so far?? You need a handsome boy collar, handsome boys coats, one for rain, one for cold in the house and one for wet and cold outside....toys, the squeaky ones mine go mad for! its also worth investing in a kong (you can get these from the kennels)... as they provide lots of fun with a bit of peanut butter smeared on the inside! Also denta sticks, tooth brush, toothpaste etc. Whoever does your homing will show you everything you need. Have a look at my boys as i was boring you about them..the are on here Glynn and floppy on here or on the Perry barr rgt page on FB i put some pics on there the other day! They are all just too handsome! Let me know whats on your list and ill fill in the blanks...although not of the things my boys have are essential, i like to spoil them! xxxx

Hi Fi. I'll definitely be visiting with Jack. I was told that I could get his nails cut at Daybreaks as and when he needs (or until I'm confident enough to do it without)! Although I shall buy a lot of the stuff from the kennel to support the trust, I'm also writing a shopping list and struggling to know what goodies to get for him. Any suggestions?? xxx

This little lady is so like Iris in the second photo. I have asked my husband if we can have her but sadly he said ''no''. I wish her good luck in finding a home.

Hi Deb, there is no further treatment required as he has been given a totally clean bill of health (thank goodness). The vets don't need 2 see him again at all, the site of his skin graft is looking, well - insignficant now and the wound on his bottom is very close to healing totally ! A week or so and his fur will have grown back enough not to even warrant a passing glance !!! Insurance wise - I'm unsure, when we looked into it when we got Jo Jo there were no questions about past conditions, and as the growth isn't going to reappear I guess there are no pre existing concerns, but have a chat with Ruth, she will know better than me x And i will have to speak to Ruth about how to get pics over to her to add, but some on FB if u want 2 look me up ! Ps house trained, children friendly, amazingly good on walks - a dream really - a lovely, handsome snuggle monster who I love very much and hope he will find his forever home where he can put his paws up and be the wonderful pet he has already proved to be x
