Sadly the owner of the dog let go of the lead and it was an accident.... the other owner (who is actually an owner of a grey from Daybreaks) is really distressed about the situation. It is one of those very unfortunate accidents but reinforces my constant worry of people holding on to a lead tight and using the muzzle 🙁

Oh you poor boy, that wound is massive. What is it with people letting their dogs off and not supervising them properly? We had a run in with a loose Jack Russell today - no owner in sight, but Bloss ended up with a bleeding lip. Sadly (sorry- Luckily) the Jack Russel ran off sharpish and unhurt when Reubes lunged at it. I was livid, and then I see poor Rocky and its just made me mad again.....hope you heal up soon big lad. luv t, r & b

Please please please report this attack to the police under the Dangerous Dogs Act .. they will probably not want to take the report but you can insist and its a criminal offence ... poor Rocky- at least he survived but imagine if it was a smaller dog or a dog walked by a child and it went for the child 🙁 Please report this before another dog is killed 🙁 J xx

I've read this, I'm very happy thay Carraig has completed your family! He certainly deserves to be a happy boy! I feel the same about my boys... Love them to bits, even if fly has eaten two pairs of mu slippers, my other halfs shoe and various other household items... Including a bag of bright orange pegs!!!! Xxxxxx

Horrific. I've never seen such a horrid wound. What was it that got him? Poor boy, so traumatic. Am up this week at some point to buy food so will bring some pennies then. xx

My beautiful Carraig, Just wanted to say how amazing it is that we've got you and how much you've changed since. Yes you still freak at little dogs, but the main thing is that you're getting there - and that's only in 7 months! You, Dilly and Ly make the perfect pack and it'd never be complete without you stealing our shoes and hiding them in the garden or you carrying your water bottle around while whining! Our family wouldn't be the same without my baby Carraig and we're so lucky mum fell in love with you online and that you loved us back. You've learnt to trust us and turned into an amazing, loving grey who was in desperate need of some TLC. I know no-one will read this but it doesn't matter as there's no need for anyone to look at this page because you're re-homed in a forever home with people who'll love you always and unconditionally. I love you kaykay, my special gorgeous grey.

Oh wow. She is beautiul x Poor Rocky i feel sick at the thought of what happened to him the people walking him must of be so scared. i could never imagin the pain he was in. Poor lily had a little accident today at my mums when we went for a bbq. my mum has a massive garden and lily was running as greys do. she suddenly ran so fast and did not stop and flew into the shed. we all ran after her as she ran into the house. she did not even cry. thought she was ok till saw blood on carpet. she has about 6 cuts and her paw bit at back of leg is cut quite bad. took her to the vet as was worrid she said clean wounds with salt water and bring her back tomorrow as she needs it cutting of and anti biotics. we have cleaned her up and i put some bandages on her cuts. oh ours dogs are like babies to us. love her so much. x x x x Why do we feel so guilty when they hurt themselves. I hope layla is doing ok? x

Poor poor Rocky, I know from experience how devastating this must be for you and your foster family, why oh why don't people keep their dogs on leads if they don't have proper control over them. Sending huge hugs and best wishes for a speedy recovery from Boogie & Fletcher......our mum has made a small donation we hope it helps x x x

That's one hell of a wound. He must b in so much pain? Poor lad must hav been terrified n in so much shock. I really feel for him n the gud people who r fostering him. Unfortunately it seems to b happening more n more n its no longer just a bite but a mauling. Hope Rocky feels abit better soon n that he doesn't suffer any psychological problems bcus of it cus that's always a worry wen these things happen. X

No problem also I hope the Jones are also OK this must have been terrifying for them as well. Love to them all. Do you think he would like one of my sardine cakes?(I am getting a repution at home as the mad woman who bakes cakes for dogs)
