Hiya, I have been very lucky and been out for a walk to Kingsbury Water Park today. I went with Auntie Emma, her family and 3 greys Kevin, Sadie and Moomin. I was such a good girl and lay down in the car straightaway on the short journey to the park. On the walk, I met a yorkie, staffie, badger hound, rough collie, border collie, borzoi, saluki and lots of ducks and geese and I was very well behaved with all of them. I walked beautifully on the lead and I had lots of cuddles, especially off the little people who thought I was cute, and I kept turning on my charm to try and get people to take me home - lots of people seemed interested in me, but that's hardly surprising is it? Anyway, I went back to Auntie Emma's house afterwards where I met her 2 British Blue Shorthair cats Monty and Poppy. I didn't notice them at first, but when I did I was very polite and just had a little sniff, but Monty didn't like that and hissed at me :o( I think I will steer of cats in future - they are far too contrary for my liking! Then I had a run in the garden with Kev, Sadie and Moo, and crashed out in the lounge after testing out all of the beds. Oh, and everyone seemed really surprised and happy that I did all my wees and poohs outside - well where else are you meant to do them? Auntie Emma said it was like I'd lived here all my life and, if I'm not mistaken, looked a little bit upset when it was time for me to come back to Daybreaks where my dinner was ready waiting for me (we've got Auntie Ruth trained very well in that respect!) Anyway, I'm now crashed out in my kennel with Sunny who also had a fab day out. I love it at Daybreaks, but from what I've seen today, I think I would really really love a family and home of my own. I love licking people and have got a really waggy tail and I would love to share some of that happiness with my very own family. Love and licks, Tess xxx

I have been a very lucky boy today,I have been to the greyhound walk at Kingsbury water Park with Millie the lurcher and her mum and dad.I was a bit scared at first going away from Daybreaks in a strange car with people I didn't know but I have had a brilliant morning. I have been fussed over and cuddled by lots and lots of people I think it is because I am so handsome ,charming and impecably behaved but MIllie thinks it is because I was wearing a bright red coat with "I need a home " on it. I met some of my Old Day Break friends,Ciara and her mum and dad and Katy with her mummy and brother and sister. They seem very happy and I really like the idea of having a family to myself especially if you go on walks in woods and around lakes. Millies mum says I have been a really good boy,she thinks I am a big softie cuddle monster who loves to lean against people. She told Auntie Ruth that I was a delight to take out, that I loved all the greyhounds on the walk especially the ladies. I never growled or barked and ignored some odd looking creatures that Millie's mum said were Yorkshireterriers,Staffies and Canadian Geese. She also told Auntie Ruth that for a big dog I walked nicely on the lead and was very responsive to instruction she even said I would be a delight to have in a house and train.Well what does she expect I was a super racer and now I just want to enjoy my retirement in a home of my own which I can chill in and a family that will give me lots of cuddles. Day Breaks have been looking after me for a while now I don't want to seem ungrateful but I do think I would really like a home of my own just like all the friends I met today have. Woof Woof Sunny.
