Poor Lachy is recovering from a ??? bee sting, swollen face and not as much of a waggy tail as normal 🙁 Steroid injection and antibiotics, and fingers/paws crossed for a speedy recovery...its sooo sad to see him like this, but he is getting lots of love and cuddles...we promisexxxx

Thankyou everyone, looks like we will be looking at the galaxy !! To fi,charlie,fly its hard not to want to keep them when they settle so well into your home and reward you with a waggy tail and loads of cuddles and kisses. We are struggling with our emotions as we know practically 4 dogs is too much permanently...not just the car issue, eg 1 of us can walk 3 dogs but not 4 safely, and insurance costs etc. However if we can look after Lachy until he can find a special loving forever home than we might have to accept that. (though there will be many tears alround 🙁 from all of us) I suppose thats the downside to fostering. However bigger car will mean we can all get around in 1 car and be able to foster more easily in the future once Lachy is homed 🙁 xxxx

I too can recommend the Galaxy, I'm on my 4th! I can get 4 greys in the boot area and my other 2 go on the back seat, and that's only because one of them is old and can't quite manage the jumping in and out and the other one is Iris, who I pamper a bit!

Hi, we have a Galaxy, the 2 rear seats fold down and there's loads of room for our 3 greys, 2 children and all my "essential stuff"! There's lots of room inside and it's lovely to drive, good luck with your car hunting! x

Hi there, just to join in the car debate, a Ford Galaxy is what you need, it may not be the most glamorous car but it has the biggest boot you will find. I am on my 2nd and wouldn't have anything else, and I have 1 husband, 3 children, 3 greys and we sometimes dogsit a 4th grey and everyone fits in no probs, stick a roof box on for your holiday and job done. The 4 wheel drives may look good but have nowhere near as much room, and the galaxy drives really well too, hope this helps, Henri x

Hi becky.. You will have to get a trailer to tow on the back of your car... For the kids (joke, joke) really pleased to hear how well lachy is getting on. Sounds like he is enjoying the company of other dogs! You really have to give me tips on gettinf round the other half... Mine says no to everything.. Two is enough for us... Apparently xxxx

Hey Deb Am glad to hear Ellie will be ok, so now 2 u !! U couldn't have prevented what happened and u did all u possibly could have and I hope ur wounds are healing and that ur heart will start 2 heal soon too xx Trust Ruth she will find Fizz a home soon as Fizz is lovely and Ruth is amazing !! I can only begin 2 imagine how u feel as the owner of 2 greys and a cat ! It was a tragic accident and i send all my love to you and ur family and of course to Ellie cat x Fizz was lucky 2 have had ur experience and love which will stand her in good stead for her next chapter xxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you Emma, have talked about a van, but my hubby has to drive a lot in his job and doen't fancy the idea of a van...although can work on it xxxx we have a mazda 5 which is ok for 3 but not enough for 4, but are going to look at the galaxy and smax at the weekend ( thankyou suejo) and some other big 4 wheel drives...will let you know how we get on xxxx Lachy is a special lad who definately wants to be with hounds (especially close to our big black boy Sam) and loves kids xxxxx
