I will be baking you a scrummy sardine cake and perhaps when you are feeling stronger alison might bring you to training again so you can meet some of your friends. PS Millie says the sardine cake is very tasty and can she have one too please!

WHEN IS A TRAFFIC JAM ON THE M42 GOOD NEWS? Was taking Connor to the roadshow in Wychbold but the M42 was at a standstill so took him to Elmdon Park instead and guess what there was a lovely new mummy and daddy waiting at kennels for him when I took him back. hopefully he will be going to his new home this evening. He is a "leaner" and so affectionate.In the car he nuzzled his head into my neck whilst I was driving along and whilst walking despite a number of distractions of the small and fluffy variety behaved impecably.he likes to lean accross you when walking and I was more in danger of tripping over him than having my arms pulled out of my sockets! It is brilliant that Connor who only came back today will be with a family so soon afte being returned.FANTASTIC !! Michelle at Bark Inn will be so pleased as will everyone at Daybreaks.

I totally agree with everyone if you have a dog and love him you dont return him to the kennels because he pulls on the lead. I have 2 at home they are sisters and I would not give them up for anything. connor go and find a lovely home

Read Wizard's story last night and feel absolutely heartbroken for him. I said that if I'd been at the kennels yesterday, I'd have had to have brought him home with me- no question! Thanks Gracie's Mum for looking after him for the timebeing, please keep us updated on his progress and let us know if there's anything you need for him, I'm sure we can put together a little SOS box for him. Hope everyone who was at Daybreaks yesterday feels a little brighter today - you all do a fantastic job and our family are eternally grateful to you all for introducing us to the most wonderful dogs in the world. Just an update on Lady aka Gypsy. She's having a great time playing on Cannock Chase in the spring with the cocker spaniels. Unfortunatly we took her to the vets as she was drinking excessive amounts of water and had incontence issues. The real sad news is that she has been diagnosed with kidney failure therefore on medication for the duration of her life. She is fit and heathly at the moment and still runs round like an idiot, we will just have to keep an eye on her. We love her to bits and so happy we have got her.

After a good tea Wizard had a peaceful night and slept well. He is up and breakfasted, has had a quick play with a toy in the garden and is now snoozing again. He has been calm and sweet, got on great with the other dogs, enjoyed some love and fuss, and is quickly showing what a true gentleman he is.

Hi, I can get Tippie to Daybreaks tomorrow no problem if you or Daybreaks could give me an idea of time. She is the sweetest lady, clean in the house, quiet at night, playful, gets on great with Gracie and Rowan, fancies Wizard, fine with other breeds, loves fuss and cuddles, has the prettiest face, good on the lead ...... Can't think of a bad thing to say about her xxx
