i went to have a cuppa with Harry and his mum Barb. Harry says to tell his auntie Ruth 'Thank you for letting him live with his mummy, he is very happy and a spoilt boy who has lots of doggy cousins who are not greyhounds and 2 cat siblings who love him and a baby who loves him too.' Harry is looking so well and happy and is well and truly settled, a real joy 🙂 xxxx

Fudge

Poor poor Fudge - I picked him up from the vets - he was castrated today and they have removed most of the teeth from one side of his mouth. As he was under anaesthetic for so long he has got to go back and have the rest of his rotten teeth removed in a few weeks. He is so wobbly so I have made him a very comfy bed for him to rest.... big hugs to the old fella xxxx

Dear Ina and Lady Victoria Thanks so much for your lovely words and support. We've just had our home check and passed - hooray! Coming to get Capt tomorrow as soon as you open - I'm so excited I won't be able to sleep tonight. He is such a gentle and beautiful lad 🙂

have been in bed for nearly 2 days with a throat and ear infection, but the best medicine is a lovely big grey who seems to know that i am not at my best and has slept on my bed next to me. she has been sooooo loveing, ( don't tell the hubby!).xx

Mia (Splash)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Finally managed to get logged in! Just a quick update on Mia (Splash). She's settled in so well we can hardly believe it and is absolutely wonderful! Gradually she has worked her way up from her basket .. to the sofa .. to the spare room bed .. to the master bed where she reclines on a variety of pillows and cushions like a little princess! Only slight problem is she has a bit of a bad leg at the moment - it's been investigated once but has been slow to heal so we're going back tonight for another check-up. Otherwise, it's been an incredible experience seeing her settle in and watch her adorable personality emerge. She's absolutely gorgeous in every way - we love her!

Chloe has settled in great, loves to play with all the toys we have for Jack and her and is a cuddle Monster! First day back she told us 3 times she needed the Garden and slept through the night. Jack has been a star, Lets her walk all over him and did not grumble when she nicked some of his dinner.

We're so looking forward to this handsome chap coming to life with us after loosing our gorgeous greyhound Jensen a month ago. I miss not having aa gey around and Saturday will be so exciting to be able to bring Captain home.

my Toby has a new girlfriend and in fact all the boys do, we met up with RubyRoo for a walk yesterday and when the boys got back into their van Rubes jumped straight in with them. they all curled up and went to sleep whilst Claire and I had a coffee...happy days. 🙂 xxxx
