Lady is being a fantastic house guest - great with our greys, no accidents, sleeps all night and is a gentle, loving girl. I am sure she will be snapped up soon x

Zoe having met him at Bark Inn a couple of times I know exactly what you mean .If you go their website you can see lots of gorgeous piccies of him.He will be loved and admired where ever he goes.Although he will be missed at Bark Inn he deserves a loving home and to leave kennel life behind.I did try to persuade my hubby to have him when our dog boarded at Bark Inn in August but with no success. So I am delighted and somewhat envious of his new family.Max enjoy your new life . Love Debbie and Millie XXX

Hi all, thank you for all the advise, we've not had any of the full on incidences yet but we have had some not so bad occasions and at these times i've tried turning my back and ignoring them and it has worked.I will continue doing this n hopefully things will get much better very soon. In my earlier post i refered to brush although its not actually a brush its a rubber pad that fits on the palm of hand with small rubber nodules. Both Mystic and Cally are improving with the cats they ignore them when they're in the hall/kitchen but if 1 of the cats manages to get into the lounge they will try n get them but stop as soon as we say no. Thanx again for all the advice Jen, Mystic & Cally xx

I still have the gorgeous Olive at our house. She is really so very very good. Not muzzled at all with my greys, sleeps all night, toilets outside and is very gentle and quiet. A perfect little grey! x

I picked up Lady from her trainer this morning who was very sorry to see her go as they have had her since she was 2. I took her straight to the vets where she is being speyed today and she will stop at our house until she is recovered. Please excuse the photos - they were taken in the waiting room at the vets with my mobile!

Very, very important to realise that these are early days! The yelp technique combined with avoidance are the best ways to cure this problem. Mouthing is often a sign of insecurity rather than agression, therefore, avoid mouth (dog) to skin (human) contact as far as possible. If during high excitement situations Mystic mouths a hand, teach your family (and yourself) to yelp really loudly as if you have been stung by a wasp, turn your back, place your hands under your armpits and walk away. Ignore all of your dogs until they have calmed down. This may seem as if you are punishing them all for Mystic's mistake, but you need to enforce the 'calm dynamic' again which will result in an easier to manage situation. Patience, kindness and the yelp/avaoidance technique will work, but your whole family MUST understand it and use it.....good luck, Mystic is a lovely hound!!!!!
