Jo
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Jo slept on our bed last night and spent the night with her head across my legs. She is so loving and affectionate, although a little nervous. We had an early morning wake up call for a wee (oops.... on the landing but she stopped mid flow and finished outside!!!!!!) She is now settled down on the window seat - with her head across my legs again! She has been in a home for over a year and is being booked in for vaccination and speying. She will make someone the perfect house guest.

Oh my word, if it wasn't for my eminently sensible hubby, I would have taken this little sweetie home myself. So gentle and shy, but still brave enough to come up for fuss. Wasn't bothered by my 3 hooligans and happily had a sniff with them, responded to her name when called and just an all round gorgeous girl. Soooo jealous already of whoever is lucky enough to take this beautiful tiger-marked girl home, good luck Jo-Jo xxx

Mindy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well Kate good news on the Twiggy front.I take it she's still on the pro.syrup. Mindy now has not only fell in love with the vet, his wife & also the receptionist. But it good she's happy going to the vet's as in the past we have had dog's that hated their visit to the vets. One thing is she is now going weekly as we were going every day. (But she still loves him) Hug to Twiggy. Sylv xx

Penny gave blood today with her brothers, she was very brave and even had a bark and a bounce, just to let everyone at the kennels know she was back! (just for a short while!) Still need to talk to Aunty Ruth about her bedtime/playtime/barktime/howltime/bouncetime/annoy Jack time, you know, the part of the evening when she really should be sleeping! ;0)

Hi Sylv, thanks for letting me know how Mindy is; the tablets seem to be helping don't they? It is good she loves the vet so much as she has to see him every week. Twiggy is fine thank you, although she had a few wet nights a couple of weeks ago but back to normal now. Give your lovely hounds a hug from me. Kate xx

Cally (aka Linda)

Hello All of our three greyhounds had this problem, I give them Evening Primrose capsules and these seemed to have helped, they all now have shiny black coats. I also put a little bit of olive oil on their pasta a couple of times a week too. When we adopted Tom he had hardly any fur on his tail and this has all now grown back and I think the oils have helped. Alison
