Brought the very handsome clooney home tonight to see how he would get on with cats. He is absolutely fine, not bothered by them at all, fine with my non greys too! He is now fast asleep on the rug he is sooooo gorgeous, someone out there is going to be very lucky to have him as a pet.

Princess has been brilliant. She had a good look around the house and the garden and then settled on her bed next to my other grey. They are getting on fine and have had a couple of nice walks together. She is also very clean in the house. So far so good fingers crossed this continues!!!

Hi What great news that Penny has been 'fostered' LOL .. she was again very, very good at Class on Saturday and a lot of that was due to Alison working with her so well. A big thank you to Alison for spending her Saturdays helping Penny and it looks like it's really paid off 🙂 Thank you too to everyone else at Training who help Penny and our little fluffy Lucky be more sociable with other breeds 🙂 Thanks again Julie xx

Hi, Penny here, must be quick, I don't know what Tash would say if she caught me, sell the story to The Sun "Greyhound can use computer shocker!"? Anyway, I slept through the night, no accidents or barking (I tried that once, they ignored me, so rude!) Tash says that I need to stop faffing around in the garden and get on with the job in hand (I really have no idea what she's on about "Be clean"? But she does get excited when I have a wee or a poo!) I lurve Jack (he has 4 legs like me) I keep flirting with him, tried nibbling his ear, but he didn't like that, Tash calls us Bonnie and Clyde, is that good? We make her laugh, so it must be good! Right, got to go, stuff to do, I'm taking the boys to school then going over the fields for a walk, big licks to you all xxxx

Ruth and Alison have worked wonders on the Penny who first came into kennels, she is such a different dog now. She has settled right in here and this shows that she will in another home, her forever one x

We have passed the homing procedure today and had many questions for Beryl who was very patient and answered all our queries! Can't wait to take James home! Many thanks to Barkinn kennels for their time with this wonderful dog, without u he would not be completing our home! Thank u to everyone involved 🙂

Well it was our first day at training Saturday. We would like to thank everyone for making us so welcome!! Lucy did really well, she was very nervous, being in new surrounding's and with so many people, but still managed to walk lovely on the lead,wait, not respond to the toy dogs etc. She wasn't impressed with the sausage we'd taken for her, but wolfed Jill's liver pieces down!! (She loves sausage when were training her in the house though lol!!) Davey was very well behaved too, and enjoyed all the attention he got for being so handsome!! Weve been for a lovely long walk down the railway lines today, she found different breeds exciting at the start of the walk but by the time we headed back, she didn't respond at all to them and just plodded past!! Davey's laid back, couldn't care less attitude must be rubbing off on her!! Weve followed Heather's advice with her thinking Lawson is a four legged strange creature (when he's crawling) and she's improved staying on her bed already, and Harrison has enjoyed giving her lots of treats, which she has enjoyed just as much!! (Thanks Heather for your advice) xx

Hi, glad to here Cally is settling in okay, we adopted Lucy about the same time, and met Cally at the kennels, she was lovely. Lucy is our second grey now, we adopted Davey about 8 months ago. It is lovely having two, and i'd recommend it to any 1!! They've settled together quickly and it really hasn't been any different for us, having two than it has having one, just lots more love and cuddles!! Nic x

Cally has settled in really well, she has been muzzle free in the house since tue n so far has been fine with the cats (Tilly & Tiny), although Tiny is still a bit wary. It's been an absolute pleasure having her as part of the family, If it was up to me i'd be up 2 Daybreaks 2moro to find a brother for Cally, but need to convince the man of the house 1st lol but fingers crossed it wont be long.
