Sounds like she is very discerning in terms of who she chooses to be friends with! Wise old lady! She was at Bark Inn with Scottie so maybe she is just picky about her friends!

Penny

Met Penny at training this morning, dont know what all the fuss is about! She was well behaved ,enjoyed being made a fuss of her and even let IRIS sniff her bum without reacting.Dont tell Julie but her muzzle came off for a few minutes whilst Julie went out with the so called reactive dogs.Penny enjoyed her treats and is very clever getting the hang of food refusal training at the first go. She was lovely with the children at training and I am sure the right home is out there for her.She is so clever she just needs to learn to show this side of herself to potential adopters. Hopefull we will see her at training next preferably with a new mummy or daddy in tow. Go on Penny you can do it!!

She's a lovely girl who likes to have lots of if not all the fuss just like her boy Mick. The only difference is Mick knows that Magic is the "boss", Ellie being a girl would probably be the boss and want all the fuss. She does have a lovely personality and will make a fantastic pet. Maybe she'd be better off as an only dog where she can have all the fuss or with a dog that is laid back. I wish we could have her (she had a fantastic relationship with Mick and they would be great together but I don't think Magic would take too kindly. Her original owner/trainer was one of the decent guys so I doubt she was mistreated. She just needs a loving home where she can enjoy being a pet for the rest of her days.

Hi Ade and Bev, Ellie May has been lucky to have been owned by a lovely trainer in the past and very well looked after, however some greys just sometime prefer their own company! Saying that, she used to love being kennelled with Scottie!

Can't stop thinking about Mr Mystic after Jude tried to 'encourage' me (with a bit of successful emotional blackmail) to take him home! Sooo, not allowed though :0(

Please do not think she is a bad grey just because she has a personality and probably been mistreated in the past. Greys make wonderfull and loyal pets just wish I had more room to take you in to show you that being a pet is great. A Bit of training and socialising will help loads!! Good Luck and Best Wishes Ade Bev Katie and Milly xx

It was mine and Charlie's pleasure to come and help, it was nice to have some time together without Buddy leaning on me and Jack sticking his tongue in my ear! I love the picture of Sara, Sara's Charlie and Penny...I wonder what those 2 dogs are thinking! ps. Charlie says he's happy to pop over to be sniffed any time! x

I was amazed at how brilliant penny was with Charlie the beautiful 15 year old spanial tday n then even more amazed at how well she was with my Charlie after previously not taking to him. Penny n my Charlie spent the rest of the afternoon in harmony in the kitchen. Well done penny u really showed me tday. I think the key was meeting the other breeds outside the kennels. She is gonna make a very loving n special pet 4 sum lucky family. We also tried all the kennel dogs with Charlie n Charlie n many of them hav met my cracker n all dogs were fine with these different breeds. Thanks Tash 4 havin such n amazing laid back dog in Charlie n 4 bringing him up to b sniffed at. X.
