... is that what you get up to when Liz is in charge? LOL I don't know 🙂 I thought Penny was a typical grey .. a bit scared for her first time at training but then really relaxed and seemed to be enjoying herself. We did some heelwork outside with the other greys and lurchers with her, 🙁 her tail was tucked down but Ali kept talking to her and she relaxed then we all went back inside for a defrost oops meant some more serious training and a cuppa. I wasn't sure doing recalls in the hall when Penny was at one end would be a good idea but we tried it and she was as good as gold .. didn't kick off at all unlike some I could mention 🙂 🙂 🙂 A really good start, we'll see what she's like next week when she might be a bit more confident and brave but I'd agree with everyone else - she just doesn't show herself off at the kennels and is just lacking confidence (aren't most greyhounds nervous at first ?? ). A big thank you to Alison for bringing Penny and did a great job working with her and to everyone else at training for helping socialise Penny and introducing her to other dogs. 🙂 JXX

Poor Minx - she unfortunately chased a fox and ended up being hit by a car...... she sadly lost her battle at the vets. Sending big hugs to her owners.... xxxx

Brought Dee Dee home tonight as she is still a little swollen following her spey. Thanks to Michelle and Gordon from Barkinn Kennels for bringing her and Sally over to Daybreaks despite the M42 being closed. Dee dee did a big wee in our hall but I think it was nerves.... she is now settled and fast asleep.... such a sweetie - sure she won't be at Daybreaks long x

another gorgeous black boy and another one i would love to own. we had a walk today and he was perfect on the lead and had a lovely cuddle afterwards which we both enjoyed, pure bliss. xxxx

Mystic and i had a cuddle today and he is still the wonderful boy i remembered....i hope someone will give him a new home soon as he is bound to be very sad at losing his mum and dad and his last home through no fault of his own. good luck beautiful boy. xxxx
