Jack's here at last. Been in the house 2 hours and forgot how hectic a new grey is!!Climbing on tables, work tops and window ledges is a passion at the moment; so too is mom's cappucino...... far cheekier that his picture portrays. Very lovely boy though. Sully is sulking about his new 'brother', Tilly thinks her new brother fab, and the parrot - well she's gone into hiding. Here's to a fun filled Christmas - so hard typing with a new grey on your lap!!!! x

Penny woke me up at just after midnight crying - probably to let me know she needed to go toilet.... except she had already done it 🙁 Couldn't be helped...... After a good clean down and I took her upstairs and she slept soundly all night. She really is a little treasure - getting on well with our 6 and Kelly, Ratty and Honey 🙂 Ha ha - I almost have the same amount at home as I have at the kennels at the moment - it is great. Trying to persuade Robbie that I can bring the others home to save dangerous travelling in this weather but he wasn't too impressed - perhaps I might be sleeping at the kennels a bit more than just Christmas Eve!! ps Lichfield Sam - her foot is healing really well x

aww poor penny, isnt her foot any better from the other day ruth? i hope she gets a home soon, it sounds as if thats what she needs, shes been at the kennels for ages. hope she sleeps well tonight at yours 🙂 x

Can't beat exercise, boundries and TLC usually results in a contented whoof!!! We find it more so with our whippet .... and as the post below says its more difficult to exercise during the darker evenings. Connie our grey wouldn't agree today in the snow .. she kept turning to come home!!! Jx

Ok..... call me nuts! I couldn't resist and brought Penny home tonight. She has cut her foot and had to be bandaged and has recently seemed so stressed. She spent the day in the kitchen with Foxy, Ratty and Kelly and I couldn't bear to leave her at the kennels (Fi - you know what I go through!!!). She has been ABSOLUTELY PERFECT since arriving at mine..... she is normally quite bouncy but she walked in, laid on one of the beds and we have not heard a peep from her all evening! She is an absolute treasure. Her only fault is that she is a food monster and scoffs like she won't ever see food again! x
