Buttons broke her hock which finished her racing career. I spoke to her trainer who told me that she had been in a cast for a long time. She is better now but she has developed a habit of limping which has put people off looking at her. The limp comes and goes and we are trying to teach her that she can use all her legs again! She will have no long term problems as a result of this - please look at this beautiful girl. She stayed at our house following her spey and was absolutely golden. She will make a wonderful pet for someone willing to look past her temporary limp x

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hello all Tom has been at home with us for two weeks now with our other greyhounds Rose and James. I can't believe we will have three lovely greyhounds. Tom is certainly a food monster, haven't found any food he doesn't like. Mealtimes are certainly very lively. The last week he has settled in with us all and this afternoon has been enjoying his lie down in our sunny lounge. We are signing him up tommorrow so looking forward to his long and happy life with us all.

Hi, i don't know if this helps but our little Petal was on Metacam for the last 18 months of her life. It really really helped her with her back legs, its an amazing medication. You may already know this but is is much cheaper on line with a vets prescription. We used vetmedsdirect.co.uk. Rich.

Got home happy and safely.. first introduction with cat was very good. Cat hissed and swiped and Ringo just looked terrified and tried to hide. He is VERY wary of it. Went for a walk and saw lots of squirrels and bunnies. He doesn't show a great deal of interest, except for perky ears and an inquisitive stance. a gentle tug of lead and a short "ssss" noise followed by lots of praise when he listened seemed to do the trick!! Not counting my chickens yet but initial signs are very positive!! he's gorgeous, we all love him to bits already
