Poor boy, reminds me of our Rolo. The right people will come along and give him all that he needs and he will soon relax when left on his own. Hope that lucky person comes to get you soon. All our love Rich, Manda, Rolo & Chillie xxx

Hi just to let you all know Sidney(Jip) is recovering really well from his operation, they removed his tumour on his tail but unfortunately had to have a large tooth out at the same time, so he really went through a rough time on Friday. He is recovering really well though and his appetite has gone through the roof!!! We've got an appointment at the vets tonight for a check up and they will let us know the results of his tumour soon. All in all he has been fantastic, he's great with the kids and we absolutely adore himxx Ps. we need some more food, can we pop over the weekend to pick some up and do we need to ring beforehand?

Ah look at my beautiful hounds!!!!! Milo looks so proud of himself here and you can hardly see Millie, she's so black! And she does still look a little unsure of herself but is settling down more and more each day....and responding to some training I have started doing with her! I hope she will be as happy as my boy is! We love her loads x

why didn't someone tell me Greys were this lovely before??He is trying so hard to fit in, bless him, and doing so well. Had a bit of a lunge at old bobcat today, not aggressively but because he startled him, soon backed off when the claws came out. He also got his muzzle stuck somehow on the waterbowl raiser and i ended up drenched with a dog going mad around the kitchen and a 3 yr old crying. Calmed everyone down and poor ringo looked so confused he got extra cuddles and schmakos from us all. He is truly a lovely lovely boy and Im so glad ive got him. We all have to adapt a little but he is really trying so hard. Understands "bed" and "leave" already. I wish Id discovered Greyhounds years ago, he takes my breathe away...xx

Ah, poor boy, it sounds like he just needs his new mummy and daddy to take a long weekend to settle him in...or take a friend too, our two help each other along and it actually seems to be less bother to have two! cuddles Craig xx

    I’m Homed

just to add to Button's limp...my toby had the same injury but his leg was never 'fixed' by a vet and he walks with a limp. when we first got him he walked on three legs 90% of the time but after living with us for 20 months now he uses all his legs 90% of the time as walking him has strengthened his leg so much. Buttons was lucky and had her leg fixed and all she will need is regular exercise and eventually she will use all four legs most of the time for sure. it does not affect their ability to go for walks at all and i hope that someone can see past Button's slight disability and give her the happy home she deserves. xxxx

sounds like he needs to have another greyhound mate then so he can learn to settle into a home from his 'sibling', is there nobody out there looking for number 2 greyhound? if so please consider this beautiful boy, he is a little treasure and will be a great addition to any family given a little time and training. xxxx

Craig, our longest Daybreaks inmate went out on trial yesterday. Unfortunately he became very stressed and only seemed to settle when he visited another family member with a greyhound. Due to his anxiety levels and having to be left on his own tomorrow, although I knew he would learn to settle with time, it was felt it was in his best interest to come back sooner rather than later. Big cuddles for you Craig - I was so sad to see you back so soon but we will help you find a home soon xxxxx
