My girls (of both the canine and human variety!) fell in love with Kite at the show yesterday. I think the cat might be less impressed but I'm sorely tempted...

We love this little girl, Rolo didn't seem to mind one bit when she put her head on his back for a rest and leaned on him. It was so cute!! xx

We had the pleasure of taking this lovely girl for the day yesterday. She is a little bundle of fun and we really hope someone can give her the chance and give her a loving home. She is very fussy and during a cuddle she likes to lean against you. She did very well yesterday with all other types of dogs around yesterday and just needs a bit of time to get used to things. She loved Rolo and was very well behaved with him. All in all a very good day for her. Big loves and cuddles. Rich, Manda & Rolo xxx

I think i speak for everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Maisie yesterday when i say what a beautiful gentle soul she is, and never was there a more deserving case for all the love and attention that was being heaped on her. It was lovely to read about her impatient woof this morning, her fire has definately been re-ignited. Massive respect to you and your charming family for taking Maisie on, we can all see huge improvements in her already. This is the best ending to an awful week. How fantastic to see how well you have settled into your new home. I am really sorry to have missed you yesterday. I looked out for you but maybe you were surrounded by your huge fan club 🙂 but so glad that you won the trophy for vintage greyhound 2010 you really deserve it. I can't tell you how happy I am that you are now having the best life and catching on lost time. I hope I get to meet you one day and lovely Deb who gave you your life back. Biggest cuddles sweetheart xxxxxx

I had Clara all day at the Dog show yesterday and she is a lovely dog. She did have a lot of attention so i hope this can materialize into a forever home for her. She walked really well with our two and would make a great companion for someone. She has a really glossy coat and is house trained already. I have just been brought my slipper from somewhere in the house by one of my greys so i am off to rescue it!

Mick has asked me to write something for him (he said he'd do it himself but he's watching the children play chess, watching out for any cheating!) "I'm being a good boy at Tash's house, there is so much to see and smell, I'm learning all the time. I love the children, they make my tail really wag and I love it when Robert rubs my ears, I could lean against him for hours! I'm suprised to say that I actually like the spaniel, took me a while to get used to him, really wish he would stop kissing me, but he's ok, Tash said I need to be tolerant of him because he's deaf and can't hear me telling him to stop! I like my food, being brushed, playing with toys, having cuddles, children, sleeping and going for walks is the most exciting thing in the world, SO much to take in and understand, Tash said I'll get used to it and get less skippy, but at the moment it's all just amazing! I've learnt what "no" means and how not to push to get outside, which is where I go to the toilet, Tash is very proud that I've had no accidents in the house, she says I'm very clever and trainable, which sounds nice. I'm determined to get used to other dogs that don't look like me, I tried really hard at the show yesterday and Tash was very pleased with me, she said that I'm fab!" x

Yummy! Scrambled eggs for breakfast today. Emptied my bowl & then finished off Lady's too!! Shocked everyone with an impatient woof of anticipation whilst it was cooling. I am loving this 5* life - my waggy tail and happy eyes say it all!! XX

Hi everyone. I am truly overwhelmed by the love & kindness shown by everyone at the show today, it was just wonderful! Donations have been flooding in - it was absolutely heart warming. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping us to give this beautiful girl the life & love she has never before had the good fortune to experience. Oh how we are making up for lost time!! So many people have thanked me today for giving Maisie a new home, but actually I am the lucky one - I feel honoured & privileged to have been given the opportunity to shower her with love & kindness she deserves for the rest of her days . . . She is very tired after her celebrity appearance today, all that fuss and attention is absolutely exhausting and how wonderful did she looks in all her new bling!! My beautiful girl won 4th prize in the over 11's and was awarded a trophy for Vintage Greyhound 2010. Go Maisie!! Best wishes and huge thanks to everyone - watch this space X deb

Paul took Chillie to the show today and she was such a good girl all day. She wandered around happily with our two and was fine with all the other breeds she met even the small furry ones. Probably the highlight of the show for Chillie were the various goodies from the Galloping Greyhound Gourmet which she woofed down! This girl definitely likes her treats.... Someone is going to get a lovely addition to their family when they re-home Chillie. Love from Linda, Paul, Lola & Lena xx

Having spent the day with Jip at the Solihull dog show we couldn't recommend this dog any more he is such a loving boy who loves lots of fuss and was no trouble with our Penny. Jip is going to make someone a lovely pet. Hope someone takes you home soon as may have to bring you back with us on our next visit to the kennels.
