I'm so disappointed that no one came forward!!!!! Gosh, was it the 1st April today?! He drives me to the edge with his behaviour some days but he is stopping here (I wouldn't be without him for the world) and we do really love him to bits (and in little pieces some days!)

All is going well so far with Bailey and Macy (previously Shannon). As expected Bailey was completely laid back while Macy showed her more inquisitive side and headed upstairs as soon as she could and found our bed. They've played with their toys, eaten their tea and we'll be going out for another walk very soon. We've posted some photos here: https://goo.gl/6UKG We love them to bits and don't know how we managed without them. Thanks to everyone that looked after them at Daybreaks. Love Val, Jon, Laura, Bailey and Macy xx

At least, let us as committed dog owners explain why we thought it was best for Sindy. It is awful to be publicly slated by people who dont know the whole story. I am disgusted!

In response to Jodie, I do agree it is an absolute privilege to own a grey. We are the proud owners of two gorgeous black beauties and love them to pieces. We did take Sindy, in the hope that we could establish a family and tried very hard to integrate her into the established pack. Unfortunately, she was bullied, bitten, and not a happy dog. She is a beautiful greyhound, very calm, very placid and very loving and it broke our hearts to return her, but it was kinder to Sindy (although my son cried all the way home after returning her) and we are over the moon she has found a new home. She will be an amazing dog. We understand the commitment and enjoy our babies...and give them all the love and care they deserve. Gud luck Sindy....xxx

    I’m Homed

Hello Rubie. Thank you for getting in touch as it was lovely to see Sticky's sister and the obvious similarities. Each day we are learning more about this sweet boy and are pleased to see his more playful side emerging. After his stressful period, it is great to see Sticky's coat recovering (which we hope means he is settling as well as he appears to be). It has surprised us how quickly his fur is growing back, and seeing Rubie, looks as though we were correct in thinking that he is going to have a nice white chest. She is a beauty! We are planning to join the training sessions which are starting up in Great Barr at the end of this month (as it is nearer to home) but are hoping to go the Billesley in the meantime. If we don't see you there, we will certainly keep an eye out on the walks as it would be lovely to reunite these two sweeties.

Hope things are ok with you, Molly. Poor Willow knows just how you feel now, having torn a huge piece of skin of her leg yesterday (not 100% sure how it happened). Still, a day at the vets has hopefully helped and she now has a very funky bright pink bandage to match your jimjams!

Hi I would love to come over this weekend but I'm away for easter. Milo is staying with a friend for a couple of days...unfortunately he can't come with me this time. Hope he will be ok. I will pop over for a walk and a chat the following weekend though and see if there are any nice girlfriends for him to play with :). Thanks for the support and advice Naomi x x x

Just to let you know that she is feeling much better now. She's still got another day of her medication, but no problems with that at all. She's as mad as a box of frogs but is learning the ropes from Molly and is starting to settle really well. At the moment she is lying on her back on the floor, legs on the sofa. Molly is so enjoying having a companion.

Can I bring Charlie to the Trust today as well please? In his younger years he ate through 2 carpets, 2 lino's, 1 dining set, 1 door frame...he had so much energy he used to pace constantly, no matter how many walks he went on. He is so insecure that he follows me everywhere and gets anxious if he can't see me. He used to submissively wee on my feet every day after work and jump up and down like Tigger to any visitor who came. He has a skin condition, constant ear infections and obssesively nibbles himself raw. Now he's old he forgets to go to the toilet in the garden sometimes and then remembers when he's in the house...then it's too late! He's also deaf, a bit blind and on medication for a stroke he had last year, oh, and he sheds...lots...all the time! He also has good qualities, now he's old he's decided that he needs to protect us from everyone, even my husband. He sleeps alot, which is good because he's deaf I can sneak off to the toilet without him following me as he doesn't know I've gone! That's about it. Does anyone know what the date is today? Just wondering...?!?!

I believe his owners have moved from their house to a flat and he is having separation anxiety.

Foxy is arriving at the Trust today as his owner is having trouble coping with him. He unfortunately does wee on the carpets unpredictably and he likes to terrorise other dogs - especially blind ones. He does have some good qualities - he can help empty the kitchen bin, he can reach into high kitchen cupboards by standing on the worktops for those hard to reach items and will devour anything that is left over. He also is an excellent alarm clock if you need a daily wake up call at around 5am. If he could be maybe fostered until he is approximately 8 years old when he has calmed down a bit, his owner would consider having him back. He bears an uncanny resemblance to a kangaroo also!
