Such a sweet little girl! I hope Gracie's (Baby) new family aren't under the illusion that they chose her - oh no, it was quite obvious she chose them, and she certainly let them know it! Well done baby girl, be happy with your new brother Blaze! Em x

Chloe now renamed Tally has settled in extremely well with us. I can't believe its only been a week since we've had her and she already feels part of the family. She is a great to walk and loves her food, and has shown no interest in my rabbit so far! Thank you Ruth and Zoe and all at Daybreaks. We'll send a photo of us all soon. Best wishes The Thomas family

    I’m Homed

this poor little girl is not having much luck being returned a second time after just a few days. i cannot stress enough that it can take a little while until a dog( and i do mean any dog not just greyhounds) will settle and learn to be clean in a house especially if they have gone through the trauma of re-homing and re-turning. it does require patience and understanding and i hope that whoever decides to take this lovely little lady home will be prepared to give her the time she needs to settle as being rejected over and over again will only add to her distress. big hug to you little lady and hope you won't be at the kennels too long though we shall all look after you and spoil you rotten whilst you are there of course. Ina x

Unfortunately Dottie is being returned tomorrow. She was homed on Monday but is having trouble with toilet training which her owners cannot cope with.

I can't say thank you enough to you for giving Minnie a chance. As you know she was returned for pulling her owner over and for attacking another dog and being very aggesive with other breeds. We were strongly advised by her owners to not rehome her. However with a couple of months of training at Daybreaks, Minnie became a different dog and with your continued training, love and support she has had a chance of a wonderful home and life. We believe every dog deserves a chance and we have proved it several times now with returned dogs that they CAN change - if the RIGHT training and support is given. Thank you so much Rachel.
