Hope you feel better now. Poor baby. Wonder how he would cope without another greyhound around? Could he be left for a few hours?

Mindy's dew claw still a problem. We have taken in my sister's bird while away this weekend, Mindy not taken kindly to the cockatiel, so having to put Mo in the spare bedroom, glad my sister is back on Tuesday.Minty fine with it.As one say's never a dull moment.

Ever since the dawn of time,Greyhounds have loved to run....anywhere,any place.Except one........Only the lure of Burns Pork and Potato,Toad In The Hole, the Biscuit Tin,Sausage Sandwich, the rubbish bag(!) to name a few seem to trigger the running urge.Terry appears to have missed out on the 'to run' gene pool except when luncheon is served or a nap beckons plonking himself on his armchair followed by a grunt and extended sleep.....dreaming of ice cream at Kingsbury Water Park(mine, I hasten to add!)

Sorry to hear that she has been returned. I hope that someone will give her a chance and see the potential of this very friendly girl. All greyhounds have a tendency to search out food if you leave it lying around. Those who have had a greyhound know that you can't leave food around as they always reach it !! I know that my greyhound loves to run around the garden, it's instinctual he was trained to do it on the racetrack and it's to be expected-they love doing it even if it means that your lawn no longer looks green and looks more like a ploughed field in the wet weather!!Every grey is different but they all need understanding and their individual circumstances need to be taken into consideration when adopting. Give Mable a big hug from me and Blue sends a lick tooxxxxxx
