Rocky
I’m Homed
I took Rocky home for a few nights and he was an absolute dream. He loves his cuddles, does his toileting outside and loves nothing more than a comfy bed!

Dottie
I’m Homed
Poor Dottie was returned today. She was homed last Saturday and is getting severe separation anxiety when her owners leave her. Her owners were distraught at returning her but were worried she could start to harm herself when left as she just craves the company of another dog or someone who can be around more until she learns that she doesn't need to worry when left alone.

Eagle
Over the Rainbow Bridge
My lovely girl Ruby is only left with 6 teeth- 23 out in one go!- left with the same ones as Eagle. Please don't let it put anyone off, after a few weeks for her gums to heal she was back on the chewy sticks, and eating dry food. And because the ones left are canines she still looks like a dog when she smiles!

Jack
I’m Homed
Jack is doing much better, the limp is hardly visible now and he seems perkier in himself. He's still on anti-inflamitories, anti-biotics, he's having weekly glucosaming injections and monthly B12 injections (it was found that he wasn't "absorbing"...or something like that, this vitamin) He is getting much more confident, cheeky and loving each day and we are so pleased he's part of our family. Hope to see you soon x

Eagle
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Poor Eagle had to have lots of teeth removed yesterday. He is left with just 6 - the 4 big canine teeth and a couple of others. He has been an absolute dream at our house overnight and has been on a walk this morning. He is a lovely gentle boy.

I think he's in the best place! It did take me a while to realise what you'd done, I kept thinking "That looks like Ruth's Foxy...it can't be...she wouldn't...but it is Foxy..." Then I realised what the date was, very funny! They do drive us mad sometimes but they add so much too! Have a lovely Easter x

I'm so disappointed that no one came forward!!!!! Gosh, was it the 1st April today?! He drives me to the edge with his behaviour some days but he is stopping here (I wouldn't be without him for the world) and we do really love him to bits (and in little pieces some days!)

Bailey
I’m Homed
All is going well so far with Bailey and Macy (previously Shannon). As expected Bailey was completely laid back while Macy showed her more inquisitive side and headed upstairs as soon as she could and found our bed. They've played with their toys, eaten their tea and we'll be going out for another walk very soon. We've posted some photos here: https://goo.gl/6UKG We love them to bits and don't know how we managed without them. Thanks to everyone that looked after them at Daybreaks. Love Val, Jon, Laura, Bailey and Macy xx

Sindy
I’m Homed
At least, let us as committed dog owners explain why we thought it was best for Sindy. It is awful to be publicly slated by people who dont know the whole story. I am disgusted!

Sindy
I’m Homed
In response to Jodie, I do agree it is an absolute privilege to own a grey. We are the proud owners of two gorgeous black beauties and love them to pieces. We did take Sindy, in the hope that we could establish a family and tried very hard to integrate her into the established pack. Unfortunately, she was bullied, bitten, and not a happy dog. She is a beautiful greyhound, very calm, very placid and very loving and it broke our hearts to return her, but it was kinder to Sindy (although my son cried all the way home after returning her) and we are over the moon she has found a new home. She will be an amazing dog. We understand the commitment and enjoy our babies...and give them all the love and care they deserve. Gud luck Sindy....xxx
