Lulu sounds wonderful. Would Lulu be ok to live with small furries? We have a rabbit, this to me isn't a good combination. What are your thoughts? xx

Lucy has been doing really well - the swelling had started to go down and she seems a happy contented girl at ours. However, we have just had a devastating phone call from the vets. Unfortunately histology has confirmed they removed a grade 3 Mast Cell Tumour and they think this is more than likely to be a secondary. We are heartbroken. We want to take her on the best walks she can go on, the nicest treats we can find and shower her with as much love as we can before it is time to say goodbye to her.

Sorry to hear that Lulu has been returned so soon, she looks a lovely dog. I know that it a big step to have a dog as this is what we are thinking about doing at the moment. It's been 2 years since our dog Pippa passed away. A dog is such a huge undertaking, I'm not sure when the right time will be, but Lulu is pulling at my heartstrings, might come and visit you this weekend.

I have been accused of spoiling Joy..... don't know what everyone means - she spends the day with me everyday in the kitchen or office instead of her kennel, being cuddled and treated...... no - she is not attached at all! LOL! My heart will absolutely break when she goes on Friday but I am so happy for her. She has waited so long to be picked - she is a special poppet.... especially now we have stopped her weeing on the sofa in the run!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kallie (Ina), I totally know what you mean - I could never let one of mine go.... to me they are a commitment and can only learn from how they are taught and we have proved it over and over from returnees that having the right training and owner makes them behave differently. Fate has played a hand for Minnie and we will find the right home for her.....

So sorry to see Lulu has been returned. Just wondering if you know what she is like with smaller dogs? My boy Toby is a bit keen around the little ones and now I'm looking for a sister for him I'd be happier a grey who isn't quite so keen!!! Lulu looks gorgeous and very placid. Cath xx

This is so sad that she has been returned. One of mine is not good with other breeds and it can be hard but i just simply could never let him go despite the fact that all three of mine have had me over several times. Hopefully she will find a new home soon, yes it's easier if they are other dog friendly but to be honest there are plenty other breed dogs who also dont accept other dogs and as long as you are able to control your dog and if need be muzzle it then it does not have to be a problem. Big hug for you gorgeous little lady, you seem to be doing very well with Cracker dog on the photo. Ina and the boys (especially Rossi who agrees with you whole heartedly in disliking other dogs!!!)x
