Same with us - the cat is the boss, and at first we feared more for Molly rather than for him! Although I wouldn't say they're best mates, they can relax near each other now and he often walks underneath her! We can leave them together overnight or when we go out without worrying. Fingers crossed that Harrison makes a new friend soon!

Lulu

LuLu (lucy) is such a wonderful dog, someone please give her a home soon, she is so well behaved, quiet, gentle and loving and it is such shame to have to return her, unfortunately at no fault of Lucy she had to be returned, if you are after a dog that is perfect in every way then Lucy is the one for you. even though it has only been a day or so we will miss her, Thank you Ruth for everything you have done. Adam.

Poor Lulu is being returned today after only being homed on Sunday. Her owners feel they cannot cope with having a dog afterall. Although only in a home for a short time, she has been absolutely golden and will make a wonderful addition to someones family hopefully very soon.

This chap has so many good comments logged about him I just cannot understand why he is still there, even his trainer says he is lovely and gives you a cuddle. It's great to see so many of the other greys have found homes last week, but please someone give him a chance, ( and then you can give him a fab name to go with those fab looks, how about TRISTRAM eh eh maybe not!!!) good look sweetie x

I can't quite believe it but we've had Kev for one year today - and what a year it's been! We first met and fell in love with Kev on Valentine's Day (how apt) and had a manic week dog-proofing our garden and home. We didn't expect to reserve a grey so quickly seeing as we have 2 cats and were labouring under the misapprehension that we'd have to wait for months for a cat and child friendly grey?!? We were so lucky to find Daybreaks kennels, and even more lucky to find our beautiful Kev! Seeing him blossom into a magnificent confident boy proudly strutting his stuff with his two grey 'sisters' has been wonderful. I might have mentioned this once or twice before ;0) but we love Kev utterly and completely and can't thank everyone at Daybreaks enough for helping us find him. We've made some fab friends along the way, but our thanks go especially to Vicky who fostered Kev when he became depressed at being in the kennels for so long, even though it broke her heart to hand him over to us. Thank you for trusting us with this wonderful boy! Em xxx

Oh guys! I know it can be a nightmare, but do persevere. Our cat was not at all impressed as we have introduced our greys into the home. She is most definately the boss and the dogs have been great, just learning to keep away from her. They can all happily sit int he same room now, although Ellie Cat is most definately top dog! I was warned to be very precautionary with the greys around the cat at first, bur actually i feared more their eyes and noses than i did the cat!!! Keep at it! X

Just an update on Lucy - her face has gone down loads but the drain is still draining and we are still mopping up blood everywhere! She has settled in a treat and is totally house trained and chilled out! I am taking her to the vets for a check up today and hopefully we will have the histology results soon.... fingers crossed that it is benign......

Maddy is settling in very well. She is very attached to her new bed in the lounge, has a very good appetite (when we are not looking)!! & is doing brilliantly with her toilet training - we haven't had a single accident yet. She is still sooooo timid and quiet but we are sure she will come out of herself as her trust grows. Great to have her home at last xx
