She does look a beauty, but then the blues always do, and she has so much interest maybe because of this. Please if you arn't lucky enough to get her take a look at some of the black beauties at Daybreaks. I just wanted a grey who had been waiting a long time for their forever home ,colour was not a deciding factor, I ended up with a black dog and bitch and they are sooooooo lovely I now have another fawn one because she was in need of a forever home as well. The right Grey for YOU is the important thing, and very often if you visit the kennels the dogs will let you know they have PICKED YOU!

Quick update on socks. He's so gorgeous. My husband has made him his own special bed and we have ordered him his own personalised coat so he can be taken off the reserved list!!! Managed to get him to eat properly yesterday and he's not crying after me so much. Have discovered today that he is very partial to the sofa and he can scale the stairs like a mountain goat! He is lying on his back snoring at the moment so please tell his other mom that he is fine and will be loved.

Whilst looking for greyhound coats (yeah, I know I know, just don't hubby ok?) I noticed these which might be useful for short term probs like this; https://www.equafleece.co.uk/store/dog_shorts.html

An update on Max. He's settled in well, it took him a while to get used to Ray because of his home & away working life.He does need a little time to get to know someone, but then he's absolutely great. He eats well & his toilet habits are really good. Only 1 accident, which was my fault as I slept through the alarm. He comes to you now for cuddles & lots of fuss, his tail very rarely stops wagging. Him & Peg still have their daily play together, while they get on together I also feel that Max would be happy as the only dog in a home.I think having all the love & attention would make him more confident & a wonderful first grey for some lucky family.

He may be ok - you could visit with your dogs to see how they get on. Milo is a very quiet lad and laid back...... Just give me a call if you would like to visit.

You can pop over today but we have quite a lot of interest in her if she is cat friendly.

The crying can last for many days..... give Julie a call on 0774 775 4759 to see if she can help with regard to the weeing..... You could try a DAP diffuser (plug in device from your vets) or some herbal calming pills (we have some at the kennels) to help with settling him at night.

I would love a greyhound. I have 2 small dogs; a yorkie cross and a border terrier. I also have lots of hens. How do you think Milo would cope with that? would be really keen to know.

Bye bye Blue.... it broke my heart to see you in the crate but I gave you some rescue remedy and sprayed your blankets with DAP calming spray and very soon you will be in the sunshine surrounded by your new family who will love you so much. Much love, Auntie Ruth xxxx
