We let young Caesar have a stroll around the kennels this afternoon. :)) He enjoyed pottering about and settled happily in the big kitchen kennel along with Nidge for company. He is a really lovely lad who loves a cuddle for reassurance. Xxx

Barney

A big cuddle for Barney tonight. He had his neutering operation today. He has been very vocal at the kennels since he arrived and after his operation was very vocal at the vets....so much so they called us and asked us to come and collect him as he was upsetting a Rabbit and a cat who were also at the vets! Thanks so much to James for taking him and collecting him for us today. Poor Barney he needs someone special to take him home. Xxx

Belle has settled really well. She is great on the lead and has met many other breeds of dogs and has been brilliant with all sizes. Very calm and loving. She will make a perfect companion for someone.

Lyra was reunited with her trainer when he dropped new boy Caesar at the kennels today. After four years I wondered if she would remember him...she did! She was very happy to see him and was rolling around enjoying the attention. :)) Xxx

It is so brilliant that Erik has the time to spend with this lovely boy, not only working out what is triggering his behaviour but formulating a plan to work with him over time to help him. With time & patience like this, Locky will gain confidence and learn how to behave in the outside world, and will consequently be a much happier chap. Locky is indeed lucky (sorry, couldn't resist!).x
