every time i see Jo's picture my heart aches and it makes me feel so sad that Toby's little brother will never be able to enjoy his own home. at least he has been with you Ruth and Rob and has had a few weeks of home comforts. the decision to let them go is so hard and my heart goes out to you. much love Ina xxx

Oh, how sad, poor Joe...it's one of the toughest decisions to make, we had to do it in September, broke my heart, but it was done with love and respect...know you'll make the right decision for Joe, sending love to you all xxxx

We had the results this morning of the fine needle aspiration of the lump in his neck and they were unfortunately inconclusive. On speaking to the vet at length there are only two possible causes for his behaviour: 1. Epilepsy or 2. a brain tumour. Both deem him unhomeable unfortunately. A tough decision has therefore got to be made at some point. My heart is already broken after losing Annie on Tuesday, this is not something I can deal with just yet. I will keep you posted...........

Terry, sadly has been returned today. His owners were having problems with training him with their cats and he was chasing them. He was reluctant to come back to Daybreaks so we are anxious for him to find the comforts of a home again as soon as possible.

I love looking at the greyhound data - this boy is Goofy's littermate and their mum, Jenny, was homed last year too.

hi jill and alison its so lovely to hear how well this fabulous boy is doing. i don't know what time you feed him but i tend to feed my 3 boys around 5ish so i can then walk them for a little walk about 6ish and then i obviously let them out for wees etc before bedtime. seems to work for them. i have noticed that if i feed them much later than that they have had the odd nbr 2 accident at night though. each dog is different and you may just have to adjust the timing to suit your lovely boy. love Ina x

Well, Jack has been left on his own for the first time for a full day. He behaved tremendously. No mess at all. He is loving the cat as well so we don't leave his muzzle on any more, he knows who's the boss. We are just having a poo to greet us in the morning, he goes out just before we go to bed but perhaps our timing is a bit wrong with feeding and walking. Any advice would be appreciated. We are loving him to death and he is getting spoilt, his fur is coming back on his tail and back legs, he's being treated to almond oil massages every day. Gluten free milk in a cuppa some mornings, scrambled eggs with his breakfast sometimes as well. He's learning and we are too and it's wonderful. Thank you every one for making our life complete.xx
