Billy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Vannessa and Dave four of us bought Billy when he was a pup.We are really pleased he has found a loving home.We had a lot of pleasure with him when he was racing we used to walk him every week.He was always very boistrous and a bit of a bully in the kennells. We always worried because of his size and stregnth he would struggle to find a good home.Although he was a hansome boy and everyone commented on this even the vet at the track said he was a fine specimen with beautiful eyes.We are really chuffed he has settled down and is making a good pet.All the best Roger Dave Dave and Brian.

Hello Anna Having two greyhounds is absolutely lovely, our two, Rose and James who we only adopted this year do keep each other company and James sure appreciates being with another greyhound. You would find I am sure that Harry and Pickles would love to be together and Pickles looks absolutely lovely. We found our Rose's personality came out when we had James she certainly livened up!. We were a little worried about having two but to us now it would be difficult to just have one there all a lot of benefits to having more than one like the special moments when they rub noses etc.! Also I can't bear the thought of the greyhounds not being rehomed before Christmas. Hope they all find a home soon. Alison, Richard, Rose and James

Anna She is such a quiet little girl. I am sure you wouldn't even notice her about. She has a lovely temperament .Two are much better than one, they keep each other company. As she is house trained and used to living in a house I am sure she wouldn't be a problem with your busy run up to Christmas. Your house would be big enough for her. What a lovely Cristmas present for her to be taken to your house and to be loved to bits. I am sure you wouldn't regret it Pam xxx

Oh I know but all these things keep going on in my head. Would the people who babysit Harry, when we occasionly need it, accept looking after 2 even if it is usually just over night. We are planning to start a kitchen extension in March, is it best to wait til after that to consider having another, as Harry is such a big boy, a second dog would need to be smaller! Also we have so much going on up to christmas it is only new year when our schedule calms down and she may have found a home by then!! My poor brain!! People who have more than 1 grey please help!!

What a gorgeous boy - we took him out for a walk today and he walked beautifully putting Kevin and Sadie to shame. Sooo tempted, if only we weren't going away this weekend, and if only I wasn't being chaperoned by my hubbie at the kennels (he knows what I'm like!) I think I would have smuggled him home with me! And his tattoos are EMS (Em's...gotta mean something, surely???) I hope somebody takes him home very soon as he looks so lost being back at the kennels. He's such a friendly boy and likes cuddles and kisses and leaning (on humans or greys - he thought Sadie was a head rest!) Em xxx

I would love to have her but Phil is saying no 🙁 I shall have to do some more work with him. It would be handy to know what she is like with other dogs. I need as much ammo as possible for the convincing! If I can train Harry to leave the guinea pigs alone, I'm sure I can do that with her!!! I really would love to have her and so would Harry!

Poor poor Jerry, he has just been returned as a family member has developed asthma and they are unable to keep him. His previous owner said "He is a fantastic dog who loves his walks, jammy dodgers, good with my daughter, sleeps at the side of the bed, loves family life and going in the car". We hope we can find him a home very soon...........

Anna It would be fantastic if you had her she needs to be loved and would be a great 'sister' for Harry. If you look on greyhound database there is a photo of her in a home. Pam x

Oh Ruth she is lovely, very tempted, will have to mention it to Phil tonight! A couple of concerns though, Harry is quite a big boy as you know so if I was to have another she would have to be one of the smaller ones. Also maybe in March/April we should be starting to have an extension to push the kitchen out so would it be too soon so have another? I'm very interested, the drops or the fact she may need other operations doesn't put me off! I think Harry would love a girlfriend to snuggle up to!

The eye drops will be long term at the moment as she gets dry eye if they are stopped. These apparently are about £4 each month but I will check this with our vets. We are going to introduce her to some small furries and different breeds over the next few days. I will keep you updated!
