This made me smile, yours are not the only ones, Sonny and Poppy are having a fantastic time dashing round in the snow ! Poppy scoops up the snow with her nose, and trys to catch it again! Sonny thinks its funny to run then stop and run again and jumps round in circles kicking the snow up with his feet, but they are not silly they are soon back in again after a couple of mins of fun LOL ! X

Tara has come back from being fostered over Christmas. She is now house trained and got on fantastically with Peg the greyhound. Please don't let her stop in kennels much longer - she deserves a home to call her own.....

Hi again Owen was an ex Walthemstow racer. Walthamstow closed down and their greys had to find homes or in Owens case (Owen was a top class racer) another trainer. The reason he ran on diferent tracks having changed trainers was that he was a top class racer and his new trainer entered him into open races (these are for the fastest greys and A1 graders), A1's being the top graded races at the tracks. This is so terribly sad, it made me shiver. As everyone else is saying, she must have had the most wonderful 2 weeks at Daybreaks with lots of fuss. Love to you all. Mand x

Was it just us, or was anyone else's greyhound galavanting around the garden in the snow at 10.30 pm last night when they should have been having a wee before bed-time!!

Thanks Pam, I have been onto Greyhound data and got his info from there. But when I was at the kennels a little while ago I met his trainers wife and she recognised me as having rehomed Reggie (she knew him as Elton) from my photo on this website. So I was just hoping there might be an outside chance anyone who knew him previously might have any stories about him. He seems to have raced at a few different tracks so I thought he may have been owned by different people. I have little knowledge of the racing industry, but I love my two retired greys. Thanks. It's such a shame to see him returned, he's such a stunning boy and I'm sure he'd be an amazing pet. I wish I could take him home with me, he has caught my eye. x

Hi Sharon Go onto Owen's page and click on here under family tree & race history, click on races and they will all come up. Also his breeding and litter mates are on the page. On 28 Feb 2008 he ran in a race at Shelbourne Park, Irelands major track. If you click on the yellow line by this race you will also see the race video he is in. He is running from trap 6 on the outside in a striped jacket. Any problems give me a call 07714574527 Pam

My heart is breaking for this dear little thing. She lived life to the full, her tail never stopped wagging. Such a treasure. At least we know that the last two weeks of her life she was loved to bits at Daybreaks. She sampled a life not known to her before. Sleep tight sweetie. Pam xxxxx
