My beautiful Pickles. I'm so so sorry to say that I am not allowed to take you home, my husband has said no and I have to accept that. It has broken my heart but hopefully you have a potential new mom coming to see you tomorrow. You would have fit in perfectly into our family but it is not to be. Be good to your new mom, you will always and forever be in my thoughts and I have some photos of you when I came to see you yesterday which I will keep. All my love, hugs and kisses Anna and Harry

Hi Anna I had 2 greys and then saw Cara (pearl) at the kennels one day and her and I knew we where meant for each other, even though I had not gone looking to increase my "pack" and hubby was definatly dubious, supported by Ruthie and Pam D WE TOOK HER HOME! (he realised he was out numbered and our marraige could be on the line if he didn't give it a go LOL!) needless to say he is totally won over and when we look on the site or go up to the kennels he often looks longingly at other grey's who catch his eye. You know you will regret it if Pickles doesn't go home with you!!! She sounds like she would fit in easily after being fostered

Hi there, Anna, we adopted 2 greys in the summer. We have a small house and 2 children and were worried at first if we had taken on too much, but I can honestly truely say that two is no harder work than one. They keep each other company when we are out at work and to see them snuggle up together on occasions is just so sweet. We couldnt be without them, and, heaven forbid anything ever happened we would not hesitate to have 2 dogs again. Kerry told us two is no more hard work than one and she was absolutely right! ahh, bet Pickles would be the best christmas pressie ever for Harry!! and to think she would have a home for christmas, good luck with your decision!x

She was homed in October 2007 and had passed her cat test at this time. Has been living with other greys so would need to go to a home with another pet or owners that are around a lot.

Anna, i hope that you will be able to have Pickles to keep Harry company. i have got 3 boys myself and can't imagine not having them. i have always had 2 dogs- other breeds as well as the greys now- as i felt it was easier to have them in pairs, they are sociable animals by nature and like to be around their own kind and it made me feel less guilty about working full time and having to leave them. good luck and i hope that you will be able to give this stunning little lady a home in time for christmas. Ina xxx

It's such a shame that she's been through so much and has become used to a home environment, but is now back in a kennel :0( My hubby will be relieved to hear she's not cat-friendly as I've been dropping Pickles into conversation quite a bit lately ;0D

Anna She is adorable. Please come soon it would be fantastic to know that she has joined your family for Christmas, after what she has been through. Her foster carer rang on Monday to see how she was doing. She said that they thought that Daybreaks would be the perfect Trust branch to find her a forever home. She also said she was no trouble at all in the home, perfect in fact, but she doesn't seem keen on cats. She was ok with other breeds. Pam xxxxx
